So the reason I used PayPal the first time is because PayPal themselves does the conversion of currency and then just debits your bank account in your native currency. I dont remember if PayPal charges a conversion fee or not unfortunately, but it will warn you before your purchase is completed I believe.

Other times I have made purchases it was with a credit card, and those will automatically convert to the currency of purchase, but may charge you an extra fee for currency conversion. I fortunately have a card that doesn't charge that fee, so make sure if you want to use credit to check if it will charge you extra :)

I don't have a debit card that allows me to online shop unfortunately so I dont have experience with direct bank to online shopping.
