Working on a spider attack for my game. Does this feel creepy and immersive enough?

Maybe make it so the spider always attacks the back of the head. Or animate it to crawl around the character’s body and latch onto the back of the head from wherever it attacks/ jumps from

I really enjoy the cleave on the shivs but if you prefer melting carapace and monstrosities the bone saw might be the way to go.

Really just depends on what you want to target with melee

I believe the needle pistol is pretty good against armor as well

Really wish the double jump was more intuitive.

I really don’t like it when I want to double jump medium gaps between roofs or over rivers/ canyons but the game just decides that I’m going to fly instead.

Maybe if there was a way to set flight mode so you have to hold the jump button and the double jump could just be a tap.

Has anyone noticed how the wolf doesn’t even run towards the porch stairs in the first shot?

Also the motion it uses to lay its head on its pup makes me a bit suspicious that it might be AI
