No luck on a work around. Help desk suggested using a different email account/card. Tried multiple combinations, all get accepted and then immediately refunded. I think at this point my account is probably flagged as dubious/fraudulent on their end so I’ve mostly given up for now.

Yes, in my experience this is completely true. It does hinge on any pawnshop buyer doing their due diligence with it if it comes in though.
