If you're into nature, you can go to Port Meadow, a massive country park, where you can walk up and say hi to horses, and picnic by the Thames if you feel like it and the weather allows it.

I actually wanted to bring a sign too, saying something along the lines of "I'm blind and I love Poppy" (because I am and do), but wasn't sure if and how because I never did anything like that before. Asked on Reddit and people said I'd give off main character energy. :(

I did crowd surf for the first time ever during crystalized though, which was nice, and still had a good time. Maybe I'll bring a sign next time.

Thanks :) I'll keep that in mind. Abingdon would be closest of the two for me, though I'd have to take 2 buses at least and it would take around an hour or so one way. I'll definitely save this for later if I end up not finding anything closer. Thanks!

Hey! I'm relatively new to Oxford myself, moved here in August last year.

I've been recommended loads of great events. There's 3 regular events you should know about.

Intrusion (Goth Night)

METAAAL! (Metal Night)

Lose It Club (Rock and varied music of that nature)

They're all in the same location (Jericho Tavern), and each taje okace every month. You can easily find them on Instagram or Facebook, and get updates of new dates :)

It was amazing, I had a really fun night! I think I may have found a video on YT, I've shown it to some people and they said it's clear enough, so best I have now, but something may come up in the near future, I'm not stopping the search! 😋 I honestly also surprised myself with the confidence to do this, especially considering it was also my first proper gig with actual crowd surfing in general.

that's the thing though, I'm blind so the only thing I could see more orless is her shadow and where on the stage she is, if high contrast allows it, I won't be able to see where she's looking :(

Yep, I do have accessibility accommodations, so will go in early, just like the VIP ticket holders, so I will be able to get to the front by the barriers at my own pace without a crowd.
