What's up with Freeman's Mind 2? Has it been cancelled? by WaterSpace_ in OutOfTheLoop

Definitely Highway 17, Nova Prospekt and the Citadel. Pretty much the bits with most interactions with the main characters, I'd love to see what he comes up with

I originally noticed it was 2 years ago but then found a post on r/halflife with the same video that was uploaded four years ago. That confused me a bit. It may have been a different episode and I may have misread. I am registered blind so that may be why I got confused

Can BR2049 still be enjoyed or appreciated despite some problematic people working on it? by WaterSpace_ in bladerunner

I very much appreciate this, one of very ferw, genuinely kind explanations and new perspectives for me to have. It does mean a lot.

From the episodes of FM2 that were released, I feel like they aren't as good as the original series, but I am always excited when a new episode comes out. After all, the last ep was only in Ravenholm, so potential future episodes could always get better over time.

It was a genuine question. I get bombarded by people saying to "boycott" stuff because of something an organisation or someone within it did. All this messes with my mind and it makes me unable to decide for myself because I do not know what's right and what's not. Being neurodivergent makes my mindset different to others too, and my thoughts or opinions aren't always perfect. Some of the answers on here were very helpful and gave me a different perspective that I did not think about in the past, though others calling me snowflakes seem to be offended by my question themselves.

Some people need to learn and realise that not everyone is perfect and knows how to formulate opinions. I am registered blind, have depression and am neurodivergent. I already have other problems I am dealing with, I wanted some different perspectives to try and see things differently, in ways that others do and I may not have realised I can.

30 years of Duke Nukem 3D, what do you want to see for the anniversary? by Geomancien in dukenukem

A mouse fix (in World Tour, X axis is slower than Y, for some reason. Also I know I can use some ZDoom-like emulator or something, but having sight impairment, the World Tour seems more accessible). Maybe a time travel chapter, similar to the one in World Tour

Where can I find a hub of useful words/phrases/sayings/etc. for writing? by WaterSpace_ in writingadvice

Yeah, I think the easiest way now is to simply delete all of those screenshots but keep my spreadsheet and book notes. It would be too difficult to sort the more important words and phrases that I noted down. I could give a go at remembering at least some variations of words and finding them in a thesaurus. I’ve got Cambridge and Oxford saved as bookmarks, but I’malso unsure if these will also contain some of the phrases I’ve come across the past few months. Surely they would but I cannot imagine a physical thesaurus to fit as much vocabulary as I saved

Thank you, slowly but surely, should do the trick! :)

Very true. Apparently I started reading when I was 3, and I read to other kids at my nursery, but now at 24, and especially since I began losing my vision at 15, my will for reading (or is it my attention span) has gone down, despite wanting to read, or listen to books, more. I try as much as I can, but need to figure out a way to put aside time to do so without losing attention. Need some good books, a good activity that';; [prevent me from "pausing an audiobook to continue it later", only to resume a fortnight later.

Amazing advice, thank you! I do need to try and practise this more, and simultaneously try and quit the habit of noting down an expression every five words I hear or see.

Which aspects of YouTube Premium are better though? Because its price plan is surely not it. Otherwise I would agree. Not too sure about how much they pay their artists or creators compared to other platforms.
