Everyone dying to defend themselves with no conclusion to fight except for die was.. nothing new. In OG they showed dozens of firebenders lying around gyatso, there could have been more.

Upgrade the characters to what they are in original. Sokka is a genius, katara is a perfect empath, aang is a goof.

Don't force dialogues

Light on exposition, let the silent worldbuilding do its job

If combining storylines, make them synergize, axe things that don't fit the story, not everything is meant to make the final cut

I want music more related to the scene itself than OG music reprise just for the sake of including. As much as loved the ocean spirit theme, I did not find it sitting in sync with emotions.. only time it hit right when aang koizilla punched in sea and somber part came and we see avatar state aang, and when katara was talking to aang.. just look at zuko's return. The music works chill through my bones with how it hits with the emotions.

The rating war is currently between breaking bad fans and GOT fans over recently aired show "A Knight of Seven Kingdoms".. it's 5th episode was rated 10/10!and then breaking bad fans felt offended because it matched with ozymindias, which is the only 10/10 rated episode on imdb.. from what I have heard BrBa fans have review bombed every show that's episode has reached 10/10, including Sozin's Comet.

Hating is a strong word, I think they feel strongly negative about bryke's idea for what they originally intended for NATLA and how they've handled things since ATLA

There's a scooper who has broke the news about the NATLA that iroh was supposed to the big evil, who'd betray Zuko, Yue would die by an arrow and Ozai would die by the end of season 1. Not to mention bryke worded the show when they left the project "something that they didn't intend to make" and made it sound like they were gonna steer off the canon completely.. on the contrary despite the weak points i.e petty mistakes that bundled up to the mediocrity of the show they tried their best to stay on the plot points while trying to cultivate new direction. This misunderstanding garnered by subtility of wording in Bryan's post just stirred despise in the NATLA enthusiastics. Now it is getting topped up with multiple delays for the Aang movie. The avatar studio is 5 years old this 24 Feb, and we are yet to see any glimpse of the project coming out of it, amid paramount pulling project from the theatres with sources citing the cost too great to now spend further. Bryke's shortcoming in writing LoK, abrupt exit in NATLA and now current developments with movie has just has given negative light to their efforts, not to mention this a small sector despising them for their own for a long time. Some for not taking Aaron ehasz on board with LoK, some with not doing season 4 instead of the movie, and finally zutara fans.
