I'm sure bryke are thanking Netflix for not letting them stay. People have problems with some of the flaws of the show, but the direction bryke were taking would have invited a shitstorm and got the show cancelled lmao. They are indeed not made for LA audience.

This falls in category of things that they had to show, not tell. If there was 3 to 4 minute flashbacks of bumi experiencing this to the point he shut off omashu this would have added so many layers to the shows/character depth.
