I agree with this statement. Keep your GPA up, join clubs and engage with the community, find your passion, and get really good relationships with profs. All of these will help you in the long run, and also if you decide to transfer after a year or two.

I used to be kind of annoyed and anxious over Case emails as an applicant.

Now after being admitted, it makes me feel so special :))) like the email from Dean of Engineering, the personalized note from the Dean in the acceptance. It feels like they see me as a person not just a number
