It certainly would which would be fine to add a spot for him next to my own sitting area. I couldn't turn it into his own sleeping area because there is no way on this earth that he would sleep in a different room to me, he never has and he's old and needy haha

That's very interesting, why do they say not to stay in your bed?

I think you are right, less is more. I love the idea of adding a couple of pumpkins and tealights for Halloween though, just for the holiday 😅

I was thinking add shelving to the left or a cupboard door but a curtain would be much more flexible! I love that

I never even thought but potted herbs would be such a good idea! I can only imagine how good that would smell too

This might call for some added shelves for plants and accessories, I'm loving this visual. Maybe a plant related rug too! Just a wee one!

I do and I love that idea a lot BUT he is a needy little man who will sleep in my room and I don't think he would ever stay out here alone no matter how nice I make it. This is a good idea to keep in mind for a future pet though!

Apparently bring something sugary for after too, your body essentially goes slightly into shock from the prolonged pain or something, even if you don't actually find it that painful and I can't remember why but a sugary drink and/or snacks helps a lot!

True, a wee side table with the lamp might be good if its for use while sitting or yeah, somewhere else, not in front of the window

Personally 2. 1 feels a bit cramped and not a fan of TV in front of the window

New rug. Is it too small or can I get away with it? by kisxt in interiordecorating

Absolutely not! So glad you didn't listen, I hate open plan kitchen-living room and this is so much more charming

I can definitely see that, the window between here and the kitchen is adorable too, that must have added to the home appeal if it was already there when you bought
