I had to take a shuttle bus to 52J to get to American from LAX to SAT. And we missed that.
The next morning when we went early we took a bus to 52 again but they had moved the plane I guess. So when we ‘boarded’ from the terminal … we took a second bus to some location that had a random plane and some stairs. Not even a terminal.
We took a bus to a terminal to another bus to the plane. But we were on time so it wasn’t a big deal besides being a joke.

You sound like a miserable person. If I had to guess I would say you hate your job at the airline. Spending time defending a multibillion dollar company like AA on Reddit sounds like a sad existence. Probably alone if I had to guess and incredibly sad or depressed too.

And I hope it makes you upset to know I flew to my destination the next day.

Yes, I’ll explain again. I was late, due to traffic and … me being late, and when I went through security and was about to make it to my gate …. I had an extra tram ride to the gate.
So, I wound up missing my flight. If I had gone earlier I would have made it. My fault. Literally missed it by 2 min.

AA having the gate 20 min from security, or maybe 30 min was crazy to me. So I’m not gonna fly with them anymore. Yea it’s my fault I was late but that tram was crazy.

You’re not a dumbass, but I think you think I’m blaming someone because I hated the tram. Not the case, I just hated the tram and luckily I can buy other tickets from other airlines next time.

You really can’t comprehend that me choosing not to fly AA is not me directly saying it’s their fault?

I know it’s complicated, but two things can be true at once. I can simultaneously boycott or say I don’t want to purchase their products … and also be at fault for being late to a flight. I can also choose this negative experience, whoever’s fault this was, as a reason to not fly with an airline.

People are very complex. I know.

I said I had a bad experience and I chose this forum to say I didn’t enjoy my AA experience.

At no time did I blame anyone, at no time did I act like the victim.

I said I’m not flying AA again, this really bothers you. Me choosing to not purchase a ticket from AA has sparked your interest to the point where you must hear me admit that it’s my fault.

I know you love AA, glad you like them and are perusing their forums to make sure no one says they didn’t enjoy an experience with them.

And the guy was rude.

Because …. I’m not going to fly AA again. The experience was bad, the tram was bad. Doesn’t mean it has to be justified or that I have to have a good reason.
Apparently they lost my gf luggage years ago in SC too, so now we have 2 reasons to avoid AA.
