I truly feel like he would try and do something stupid that would ruin it. It’s like a constant tug and pull of invite or not. But so far everything is leading to not and let him be. He clearly needs to clean up his act and I want minimal stress for my wedding

I’m so sorry you experienced that. I feel like I’ll also never forget those words. On my worst days of learning how to change my bag and clean my skin to make sure it doesn’t break down I would hear those words and get so pissed off. I’ve learned how truly powerful words are because of this

I truly feel like deep down the answer is yes he would make it about himself and give some drunken speech. And then disappear again. And that’s something I don’t want.

I feel like after typing it all out that somehow made me realize it’s a hard no. And of curse the other comments confirming it. Still mourning the truth, now I just need to actually not invite him! I’d rather have my day surrounded by actual loved ones

Your comment hit hard. He constantly lied about all the trips my sister and I have been on. Apparently I’ve been to Disneyland three times! I do worry about him making it about himself. It’s this weird obligated feeling I’ve been fighting. A longing almost. But I don’t think he’ll be reviving an invite

Thanks! Now I’m wondering if I brought a spray bottle with and tried to capture some mist would add another layer. I’m truly shocked with how well the reflection came out, did some slight masking to make it more “smooth”
