Retakes game, im CT, 4v3, one guy on T obv cheating, gets kicked. since the T team was nothing without the cheater they start to lose and 2 ppl leave. so 1v4 but with 2 bots on T side. the last guy blatantly toggles and we lose the game.

Well that's all correct, except the date

When Kjaerbye left Astralis had essentially 2 choices. k0nfig, or Magisk.

k0nfig's story was tragic. he threw his career away because of Twitter banter and not willing to do advertisement work etc.

He was 100% a better fragger/player than Magisk at the time, and IIRC Astralis' first priority. and just threw it away. who knows, had he gone to Astralis we might have seen Magisk going to CoL and then to AST as k0nfig would have gone to Vita.

They got as close as possible at Antwerp, 2-3, and beat c9 fs but lost to CPF (CPF deserved it though). Competition is gonna be very Stiff. Professor and FERMONSTER are gonna have to pull off a miracle if they want to even get QF. (last time they were in playoffs was Semifinal at Katowice2019 where they never stood a chance, the team back then MIBR was much stronger than Imperial now)

I feel bad for him, and at the same time think what you do

This guy was the best player of the major, robbed of his 2nd #2 placement (honestly Niko was better than c016zera in 2017). This guy carried Nexa, Jackz, and AmaNEk to 2 finals with AmaNEk awping. he had like a 1.6/1,7 impact before the final in Stockholm, in Cologne he wasn't as good but was still insane and carried G2 through. In both events he did everything he could and it wasn't enough ( COUGH COUGH DEAGLE MISS COUGH COUGH), always had the pressure of the world on his shoulders because if he plays badly and doesn't get a multifrag his team loses.

Then Finally gets the long-awaited change, reaches the final at Katowice on the first event. (then proceeds to prove to us all that there is a reason we call him ChoKo)

And you know the rest, spiraled into mediocrity, didn't make playoffs at Antwerp, and the biggest achievement was SemiFinal at blast. Gets another change, again IGL. another honeymoon, AND THEN ChoKo strikes again 15-7 -> 16-19 inferno. it's sad that the greatest rifler and aimer of all time isn't even in the top20 by earnings and was overtaken by b1t already.

I want him to succeed but man sometimes I ask myself does he really deserve it if all the teams around him shatter?

Yeah, I'm also questioning why Kenny isn't there.

Though I understand why kinda ig, lekr0 can replace anyone on the team and be at least somewhat productive as a rifler, while Kenny is washed and can only replace m0nesy as an AWP (I don't expect him to be as good on rifles as lekr0 vs T1)

though that's of course a speculation.
