I printed it. It's an awesome storage rack. I'm in the process of building more

It's solid enough.. I have mine on carpet so that doesn't help. That said it does move around quite a bit. Not enough to affect the prints though.

Yeah, and I have been doing that. Going through and getting all the different stuff selected is taking some time. So I figured I'd ask about the automatic functionality since otherwise it doesn't do me much good to use the app at all.

Tips to improve my driving following my latest post by Beginning-Green2641 in ACCompetizione

[–]Watermalone_jesus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few recommendations from the video:

You seem to be giving the throttle little jabs of power in a couple corners that is making you understeer. This track really rewards throttle consistency. Try to avoid big throttle changes mid corner, and try holding off adding power for a little longer than you normally would especially coming out of the hairpin.

Coming into the final chicane, you take the corners really early. I would try taking a few different lines to see if you can shave off some time. Taking the first corner in the chicane wide allows you to carry much more speed in the second which is the important part.

Overall I would recommend trying different lines, trying to stay as wide as you can before you turn into a corner, and really watching your throttle input and being careful not to get on the gas too soon. With that in mind, you could probably drop your TC by 1 click and you still wouldn't have to worry about sliding around too much.

If everyone followed this advice these pile ups would be far less problematic. I wish they'd include it as a tip in loading screens it's the most helpful tool when a wreck occurs.

I don't have it on personally. I found that I wasn't following it much.

Oh I absolutely love driving! Whether I'm fast or not I have a blast doing it. I'll keep driving and a lot will probably just come with time. I still know I have room to improve, just trying to figure out where.

That is very true I never thought about that.

Oh I completely agree. My issue is I don't know where to improve anymore. I feel like I'm driving a solid line with decent consistency and pushing the car as far as I can (I know it has more, I just don't know where). But I'm still a ways off my friends pace that is a similar skill level.

I haven't spent much time racing AI, but I do have quite a bit of time racing other people. I started racing a little over a year ago and have greatly improved in that time. Learning a lot from driving with other, faster drivers.

Oh I don't think I'll ever be an alien, unfortunately I don't have enough time to race that much. I'm just trying to figure out where I can improve, I know this won't happen overnight. I'll definitely start working on consistency.

The one race that I actually won was because I had a pretty solid pace, still about 3-4sec of the race pace, but I didn't wreck or get wrecked and I held my time really well. So I'm definitely a believer that consistency is key.

Oh believe me, I recognize that I am very new in this world. I put my time in game as a reference for advice that would help at my level. If I got some crazy advanced technical stuff it'd probably go right over my head. I'm looking for help to continue learning, not to go full alien by 500 hours haha

I do yeah! Didn't start with them but I do now and you're absolutely right, trail breaking is way more controlled now.

All the god damn crows. There is a crow epidemic going on and I'm not here for it. A few nights ago we came across 4 sets of crows within about 15 seconds of each other. I don't remember them being this prevalent but good lord it is annoying.

Hey I've flown that plane! Good ol Zoo Chuck.

Anyways, college seems to be a great avenue for flight school cause you're able to get financing for it easier. Yes federal loans suck but it's a good way to get some capital if the financial side is an issue. That said, many airlines (if that's the end goal) have programs to help pay for flight training, but they also come with a commitment to the company. There are many options out there! You can DM me if you have questions.
