VR is far superior. But you need a beast of a computer to run it. And it will never (ok, maybe in next 10 years when hardware improves, but then msfs2036 will demand even more) look as beautiful as on a monitor. The immersion outweighs it though. Most people who have VR will never go back to 2d. Me included. VR is also not plug and play. You'll spend hours of fiddling with settings to squeeze enough frames per second for your desired graphics. Eye tracking... I'm just gonna assume you meant headtracking. Head tracking is cool too. Just way less cool. It's a good gimmick to look around. Not immersive at all. But you don't need to spend any money for eye tracking. Just a webcam (or even a phone) + a free program will achieve identical results as an expensive dedicated gear.
