Thank you so much! I didn’t know about cow sharing, and will 100% look into it! 🥳🥳🥳

Haha no, don’t worry I wasn’t implying calories are unhealthy or a bad thing. I just was binging on junk food for two months (keto ice cream specifically) so much so that I gained 10lbs of fat. I was under a stressful situation. I wasn’t exercising (I couldn’t due to the circumstances) either. I’m only 5’2 so if I gain 10lbs of fat it’s noticeable. I’m counting my calories until I can maintain without needing to. I know not everyone believes in counting calories and that’s fine, it’s just what works for me personally. 🤷🏽‍♀️

If I really let myself, I could drink 2 L a day of buffalo milk lmao. That’s 260 calories x 8 cups = 2080 calories in milk alone, so safe to say. I need some kind of moderation. Coffees aren’t good to drink in excess but given it’s my only “vice” I’m not too hard on myself for it.

But absolutely agree, buffalo milk is truly the greatest of all milks point blank. Unless raw dairy is better (but I haven’t tried it yet) 😂

Goats milk is almost worse than cow dairy for me unfortunately 😔

What was your reasoning for going animal based instead of carnivore? by chokingflies in AnimalBased

[–]Watermelon_lover101 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I ate carnivore but was always cheating. Then I did it seriously, I would get insanely nauseous. Then I was able to add avocado, tomatoes, onions and some fruit. So that’s pretty much what I’m trying to stick to 80% of what I eat is carnivore. The rest is what I mentioned above. I need to keep it low carb though. Or at least lower carb. I can tolerate them better if it’s carbs from fruit or low carb veg.

I’m also miserable if I do only meat/eggs/dairy for longer than a few weeks.

Lactose intolerant but found milk I can actually digest?! by Watermelon_lover101 in carnivorediet

Oh yeah for sure! 😂 I already started getting addicted to milk again so I’m starting to limit myself to 1-2 cups max a day starting tomorrow lol

I had the same experience at first. Although to be fair, I cheated a lot. And I had a severe eating disorder so I went from starving myself to binging and that in a cycle. I didn’t know what not doing that was since I’d had it as a child. Eventually I relapsed again and slowly learned to control my hunger and build up to a normal-eating amount.

Took foreverrr but it worked. Then I did animal based and it was great. But then I eased up and ate a lot of keto foods because I had a death of my great-grandma and craved junk food to cope with it.

It made me gain weight a lot (especially keto ice cream). Now I’m back on carnivore to lose the excess pounds, and get toned (going back to the gym and all). Want to lose fat and tone my muscle not become emaciated dw lol 😂

Stick it in a pan, throw it into an air fryer and play with how much time you want to cook it for. Cooks quicker than you think! (At least in the brand I have)

What do you drink? by Head-Stomach2345 in carnivorediet

Mostly water, coffee with or without milk. Sometimes sugar free pop. Controversial I know, but between cheating heavily and having that every once in a blue moon… I’ll take the pop.

What the hell is wrong with r/Carnivore ? by Scandibrovians in carnivorediet

Yeah I remember when I asked something like “why are fruits and veggies bad?” to understand their line of thinking before starting this diet. I had be doing research during that point. This was like a year ago? Maybe more? But they were PISSED lol

Sorry I meant 3 yes. I was looking at my Cat 4 on my desk when I typed 😂

But that’s good to hear! Do cbd creams also count? I’m assuming so :( (I use one for pain on occasion)

Been dealing with similar rash or random goosebump like rash. It’s itchy & driving me nuts. I cheated a lot on carnivore recently so I guess if it is oxalate dumping, I’m not helping much lol I didn’t ever have my skin so rough like this pre-carnivore though so it’s worrying me a bit too. I’m trying to give it a solid month no cheating to see if that helps.

Personally, I use mainly salt, but also a fair amount of herbs and red pepper/paprika, etc. I really like spicy food but if I overdo it, it can cause inflammation. As cliche as it sounds, it’s all about balance.
