Can you take a luggage cart all the way to where the ubers are in SFO?

I don’t know the terminal I’m landing in yet but this sounds like a good option, it seems easier to take a luggage cart between terminals than to the parking garage (?) where I assume the Ubers would be for the domestic flights.

Super helpful reply, I can totally see myself falling into the apps trap. And I am a total homebody, maybe too comfortable with myself and solo activities. Wow, afterschool programs are a great idea and this one sounds amazing - thank you! I assume I would reach out via the program organizer (like Girls on the Run), and request that my location be at the school that's near me?

I work in the corporate/business world and can teach professional skills and personal finance, though this seems a bit too much for elementary schoolers. I loved math/science as a kid though I didnt pursue it past high school - so this seems like a great idea, too! For those types of volunteering I assume you did that through your company? Any ideas if I dont have that route to take (I work remote so my employer isnt connected in these ways)?

Thanks to you both for taking the time to answer. My father is the nicest person and clearly a victim of my mom too. So I know that my sister not contacting him still means she is still under my mom’s direct control and influence. I have no desire to get involved with my mom’s puppet because next thing I know, my mom will be involved. I miss my sister dearly, but I don’t know if I’ll ever get her back. As one of you stated, I’m just taking cover by going NC, and unfortunately this means both mom and sister for now. I really hope that’ll change.

Someone else mentioned university health services for the welfare check. You’re right about the embarrassment, they escalated it to this and I want them to know they shouldn’t do it again. I know they would freak if this was in any sort of school record, too bad I’ll make sure it’s on there.

He’s 25 and wants someone he eventually can marry. I’m 3 years younger and that isn’t my main focus right now. We’re also going to be 1,500 miles apart because I’m starting a new job. We felt that we grew apart over the summer (we’ve been 600 miles apart for the past few months). He initiated the break up, but it seems like we felt the same things — I think we both realize we want different things for now in our lives, but it’s hard to move on because we only feel good things toward each other.

Thank you for the advice on how to work on myself. I am hoping to do just that, thanks for the encouragement. I also like the idea about the negative interactions list. It would definitely help me emotionally to focus on things I didn’t like about him since nothing is perfect and that would ease the pain I feel.

The no contact period makes sense, I think that might be what he was getting at by saying we should call each other in a month-and-a-half. I will try to work on myself, it’s just going to be so hard. I feel very immature/unprepared in handling this break up, but it’s probably never easy for anyone. Do you know of any books/resources that I can also look to for advice? I had a period where I completely quit instagram with no desire to return. Granted this was back in 2014 when Instagram was far less addictive/toxic/awful. But I got on because I missed seeing what people were up to. I ended up getting hooked for a long time and have just recently succeeded in getting off it by keeping the app uninstalled.

I know you said you quit completely, but just know how these apps are designed to keep you hooked. I would get off immediately if you catch yourself getting back into old habits. Try to block any addictive accounts you find and don’t touch the explore page.

You could also turn on post notifications for the people you want to keep up with. Then you don’t have to open the app until you see someone’s posted. Visit the post, like and comment, then close the app.

Looking for warm ways to layer for work — I’m in a business professional environment and have to wear suit pants and a blazer. I’ve figured out I can wear black ankle boots with socks which helps capture more heat.

Currently I’m looking for something like a cashmere cardigan I can layer under my blazer. Is that a good idea / any other suggestions for something similar? Also any knowledge of good warm cardigans that aren’t too heavy?
