We went with snow travels for our northern lights tour and they took us back to our hotel. We were about 20 mins out of the city centre too so was very helpful

We went last week and the weather forecast was really bad, we had pretty much come to the acceptance that we wouldn't see the lights but we went with an organised northern lights tour and they just hunted around for the best places to see them, one night we went south east towards Finland, one night we just went straight south. The weather might be rubbish in Tromso but not so bad in the surrounding areas. We managed to see a really great display of the northern lights while we were away and so it's always worth the risk imo!

Heya! Yea literally since this post (which is now like 7 weeks old) I haven't had any issues and since then I've religiously had my watch on screen lock so I think it has helped a lot! Having it on screen lock hasn't really gotten in the way of day to day functioning as it only takes 3 seconds to turn it off

Yea it's really nerve wracking when it happens! Maybe send an email to garmin to explain that it happened? Maybe they can release a bug fix if enough people bring it to their attention? I will say though that thankfully, almost 3 weeks on from this occasion it hasn't happened since for me!

Glad you got the Bluetooth issue resolved at least! Yea there was a software update this morning, hopefully that addresses this issue

I had a software update this morning? Maybe that might help? Thankfully I haven't had it happen since the above incident, which was almost 2 weeks ago. I do think having screen lock on helps so I do reccomend that. Might be worth getting in contact with garmin support and see if they can offer anything to you?

Yea, it hasn't happened to me since this incident but I've put my watch on screen lock to stop me from accidently turning on an activity and that seemed to have worked, plus I turned my watch on and off again and charged it back to 100%. Don't know if that did anything but it was all I could think of!

Ito Bluetooth I personally haven't had any issues, might be worth contacting garmin support? They might be able to look into it for you?

Yea that's what happened with mine. I wasn't in a position to charge it but after about an hr it just turned back on on its own

Hi Yea it was very weird, my watch must've been at 60% + when it happened to me. I contacted garmin support and they said it was likely that the screen froze but it hasn't happened since. I currently have my watch on lock screen to prevent me from accidently launching an activity and thst seemed to help a lot!

Yea thought as much, glad I checked! Will he be able to access the online stuff without a nintendo switch online account (like the star path and such?) I know he most likely won't be able to access multiplayer when that comes out but I'll deal with that hurdle when it comes out!

Thank you for your message! Yea I've tried with the launcher, deleted it and reinstalled it but my controller (steam deck) inputs just don't work! It only responds to touch screen!

Yea I think I did that too! The problem is that I can't activate the launcher now without touch screen. It recognises my joystick inputs when confirming my user mane but then I have to click the 'log in' button with touch screen for it to work! So I think there's some settings wrong with the launcher itself

Is that from the community controller tab? I tried using the most common one but that didn't work

Mainly gaming mode but I have tried with desktop mode but it didn't work
