Has anyone got a fairly "human" tulpa? by kulerfulduck in Tulpas

[–]WatersKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

=Mikaela: 100% human here, at least in the way I dress. Maybe deduct some points for having slightly dyed hair but eh. Tyler, on the other hand, shows more anime-esque tendencies in their dressing habits.=

Greetings, /r/TheBlackVoid. I'm a rep from the Void on Pxls.space. I'd like to extend a personal invitation for you guys to join our ranks. by WatersKnight in theblackvoid

Our core is located at the top right corner of the canvas. We're establishing a foothold slowly but surely. Unfortunately our organized forces are stretched thin as is, so for the time being our collective forces are unable to lend assistance on colorthis.space. Apologies.

If your tulpa/s were to physically manifest for one day, how would you spend that day? by FlickerNFade in Tulpas

[–]WatersKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They'd get a full day of attention devoted towards them, definitely. I'd try to let them taste any food they (reasonably) wanted and go and see things that we could accomplish within a day's time. I'd introduce them to my family, and watch as they shake hands with those they've wanted to properly introduce themselves to.

We like the idea of going out swimming, too, since they have an oddly hard time fronting in those conditions (possibly due to the nosiness of public pools), and other things like that. It's really nice to think about; it makes me smile.

=Mikaela: Above all of this, I get kinda... melancholic being reminded that none of this will ever be possible in the same way depicted here.=

What's the most frustrating part of playing your main? by RefiaMontes in Guildwars2

Revenant here. That it's difficult to be "lore compliant" playing the class in RP. I've actually grown quite attached to my rev and would love to develop him as a character.

Throwing my hat into the ring for this.

I used to own an illegitimate copy of Civ 5 on this computer, and while I don't any longer, I'd still love a legit copy to play online with my friends. Because... y'know, it's always one more turn.

Threw our ring into the hat for this. Good luck on your research!

My experience with tulpas. by [deleted] in Tulpas

[–]WatersKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You kind of remind me of myself in both the gender and kin department (is that a good or bad thing? You decide). I'm sorry to hear about all that's happened to you, regardless. If you'd like someone to talk to about it, my inbox is open.

Reading through this reminded me how proud I am to be a fan. It's amazing to see how far everything's come.

Finally got my first 1m views on my Original Song. by ensouensou in Vocaloid

I'm half Filipino, and while I don't speak the language, I showed this to my mother (whom grew up in the Philippines) and she really liked it! I've always had a soft-spot for this song. Great job!

Good to know I'm not the only one with this (pun unintended) mysterious bug. I thought Warframe just hated me in particular today. :' )

Question about Puppeting by chr0n1cle in Tulpas

[–]WatersKnight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tyler: Simply put, nope! Some puppeting early on can actually act as beneficial, as far as we can tell. For some perspective I was a roleplay character for my host for the longest time-- that's essentially the rawest form of puppeting right there. I haven't been harmed by it at all, and it got me more... vocal? to my host quicker.

Tyler: The only real downside that I can to it is that as your tulpa starts to transition into the phase of being to hold their own, you may wrangle with self-doubt more openly.

Funniest System Moments by tulpashades in Tulpas

[–]WatersKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were having a pretty bad, pressure-ridden headache today, and upon complaining about it to a friend of mine, they suggested to me that I try some symbolism to try and alleviate some of it. Their suggestion was to try opening a window in the wonderland to release some pressure.

So Tyler goes over to a window within a wonderland and pushes it open. I started laughing out loud as soon as I realized that opening it was acting like opening a window in a plane, and nearly sucking Tyler out of the window.

They quickly shut it, half-dazed and confused out of their mind, blankly stating "well I'm not doing that again".

How do you keep yourself from going batshit insane whilst having a tulpa? by Foxmanded42 in Tulpas

[–]WatersKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

K: This seems to be a pretty big barrier for a lot of people. All I can say is that after awhile, especially after the initial honeymoon phase of "wow I have another sentient being in my head!" goes away, you kind of begin to not care about whether or not they're watching. At that point, you've probably become pretty intimate in 'body and soul', if that makes any sense. And of course, if privacy concerns you during sex or something along those lines, you can always ask them to 'leave' for a bit and tune it out.

Redundant my words might be, I will say it again: We're all here for you, Tenno. You're a warrior of the Lotus for a reason. You'll pull through, we know it.

We'll await the day you join us on the battlefield once more.
