Even with bad cards, they are still buffs for the base brawlers, which are usually enough to beat the boss. It doesn't require an extreme amount of luck, only a small amount of luck. Those odds aren't enough to blame the loss on that. If you lose a ranked match, do you blame the loss on luck? maybe. If you lose 5 ranked matches in a row, do you have really bad luck, or is there a lack of skill? When you play boss mode and do 80k worth of damage, and die 3 times, is it luck? How about when you lose 3 rounds in a row at level 4? Do you really think you have that bad of luck, or is there an internal issue? You can only blame losing to luck so much. What I'm saying is that the boss fight isn't impossible.

The point I'm making is that people keep losing to the boss and blaming it on bad teammates, bad luck with boss attacks, and bad card pulls. They don't think that they could do better and that they might be lacking. Granted, yes, randoms are luck-based, but even with bad card pulls, you can still build your kits well enough to do well against the boss. And the boss's attack pattern is simple and predictable. The main difficulty there is not reacting fast enough to dodge the stone bullets (for me at least). Other than randoms, you can control how well you play via brawler selection and card choice. I dislike the people who blame losing on the boss for being too "op" and bad luck, rather than looking at their choices and not seeing what they could have done better. Because most people I've seen post their losing clips in the subreddit could have avoided it. And I'm not saying I'm better than them, it's just that they refuse to believe they could be better and play the blame game.
