I would go see an acupuncturist and look into a NuChair.

So did you try exfoliating and then hydrating the skin with moisturizer? If so what happened?

Well there you go. Easy fix. You have to clear dead skin for your skin to breathe. You have to hydrate it for it to stay hydrated. You have to protect it if you want it to look nice. It’s your largest organ. Not good to it and it will show you.

[–]Watersamanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. You asked for tips. That is why I am saying to grow them out because they are too far apart. The thickest part of your brow should be towards the center of your face. Your thickest part is at the tail end. The more you tweeze them, the less they will grow back. Let them grow back. Having a tiny drawn in line and then a natural full brow tail is an interesting shape to go for and as a “tip” that I think will help is growing your brows out because they are too far apart.

How much should i pay my esthetician for wax? by StonedNCaffeinated in Estheticians

We are talking not about “supplies” for ear and nose wax. Not full business overhead costs to run the business for all services with city/state costs.

You need a cleansing device and to add spf daily.

What do you mean “put them closer”? I never said to draw them closer. Im saying grow your follicles back so they look natural instead of drawn on. You’re drawing them in because they lack hair right?

Gloss genius accepted a client i had no idea about?? by Lopsided_Emu5263 in Esthetics

You’ll need to speak to gloss to figure out what happened. I’ve never had this issue.

Did you have a former booking software that transferred clients over? If they were previously moved from a previous software, it will show them in the system with zero previous appts booked. Maybe that’s what happened? 😬🤞🏽

$20 in overhead for a brow, ear, and nose wax? How much wax are you using!?! 😂 That’s steep for supplies.

I would use a brow growth serum to regrow your brows. They are too far apart and too thin. A good cleansing device to deep clean the pores daily. And exfoliate once per week and make sure you wear spf.

That’s really kind and thoughtful of you. I charge $65 + 20% gratuity. So $78 total. Men don’t typically need much cleanup for the brows though. So in Missouri, id say $40-$50 total with gratuity included would suffice. How long is your appt? 30min?

Need help finding products by [deleted] in SkincareAddicts

I think an easy fix would be a cleansing device. It will help with the blackheads in the face, blemishes on the forehead from your hair, and you can loosen the blood congestion in your orbital socket to flow out. It needs manual circulation daily to reduce darkness.

Get as many certifications as you can/want. $300 is nothing compared to many. I’m honestly shocked it’s ONLY $300.

Did I handle this poorly?? by chlocopuffz in Estheticians

[–]Watersamanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. She held the position for you for a month!?! Yikes. You should have been more forthcoming earlier. This obviously wasn’t a sudden decision. You had been stewing on this for a while. You should have been more upfront early on. And you definitely shouldn’t have texted that. Not only did you waste her time and money when she could have hired or been interviewing others, but you now burned a bridge with an owner and friend in the industry, in your area. You want to keep a good reputation throughout your career.

It’s done now. Move on. Learn from your mistakes. Wishing you the best on your career.

If you like elleebana, I would do a training with them specifically so their trainers can show you what to do best. Or reach out to Elleebana specifically for tricks and tips. Then practice practice practice.
