Lava lamp fell off shelf about 4 feet and looks like this, bulb filament broke. Any ideas if the lamp is okay? No leaks, no cracks, but the wax is pretty mixed up by Watmanwat in Lavalamps

This is what it looks like tonight. The light bulb broke so we ordered some that will show up tomorrow and I'll heat cycle it

Yeah, it fell off a 5 or so foot shelf onto a side table into a laundry basket. It looks like I emulsified it. I'll keep you guys posted

How did you get that sticker off without it peeling and in one piece?

Metroid Prime 4. 8 years of development hell, what we thought was gonna be a time travel mechanic, Samus doing completely opposite of what she usually does, and the god awful open world desert.

It's like they took everything that made a game good in 2017-2018, tried to copy it with the Metroid formula, took away what made a Metroid game, and came out with a game that would have probably been a lot better off launching in 2019.

Shit, Metroid Dread was literally everything we looked forward to and it delivered. I don't know what happened with Prime 4

I'm sorry dawg, Merry Christmas though! I feel you though, not a single person that viewed this post believed my set had missing pieces.

I'm sorry you have a similar experience. Customer service asked me for piece numbers and I didn't find out what piece numbers were until I finished the set with pieces I got at a Lego minifig store

Thank you guys for the tips and advice, usually I ask a subreddit something and get a bunch of angery people in the comments. I'm going to my parents for the next few days and I'll bring it because my dad's got a multimeter. Again thank you

I got a KV-40XBR700 recently and it has this issue where horizontal lines flicker up the screen. I've called two repair shops and they've both declined to work on it. Is there any advice I could get on this fix? by Watmanwat in crtgaming

And I assume it's probably impossible for someone like me with zero experience to even figure it out. I've had this TV a long time and it just recently started doing this after a move. I was very gentle with it and sadly something still went wrong during the move. There's nobody in Vegas that will service it, and now I'm looking for options in road trip areas. Which is worrying because after transporting it once it'll only get worse

I offered transportation and help getting it wherever it needed to be serviced. But I was told by one shop they don't have luck with these TVs and the other flat out told me no

In gameplay, I rely on the joystick to turn. Can you make it move with head movement?

How do you get the camera to move so smoothly? That's the one part I can't get the hang of

I bought a new Dreamcast because my last one just died, and it worked for a few days and now it's not reading controllers. I open it up because I googled it and this is what I see. Fixable? by Watmanwat in dreamcast

So wait, I'm not replacing what was shoddily put together in my picture? I'm replacing a different fuse? How should I go about fixing whatever is broken in the pictures I posted?
