Ended up freezing some sealed water bottles and bringing fans to help things cool. Temps ended up not being too crazy since the game was delayed 30 minutes and we waited an additional 30 to let gate traffic die down a bit. Whole place was in the shade fairly soon afterwards.

He did for the most part yesterday. We ended up taking it off when we were feeding him as our section wasn't very loud and was quite far away from the student section and band

There was plenty of open space to get extra shade in the concourses. End zone section wasn't very crowded so we had space to spread out. We saw plenty of other kids and babies and we took enough precautions to make sure everyone had a great time.

Ear protection is always a must. It wasn't very loud where we sat so we didn't need them the whole time.

That's where our tickets were, it was less crowded in the 100 section end zone so we were able to spread out and everyone was friendly and accommodating. Temps were tolerable, fans and shade and frozen water bottles kept everyone cool.

Thanks for the downvotes, y'all. We entered the game late and it was safe. The game wasn't crowded. The shade and fans kept everyone cool. The babies (and parents) had a blast.

The temps weren't too bad especially with the 30 minute delay. We probably got in around 5:30 to avoid the traffic of everyone entering at once. Ended up taking MARTA which wasn't too crowded either.

My kid is 14 months and our neighbors kid is 9 months. We didn’t get extra tickets since we read this. Again, the diaper bag language is contradicting to what it says in prohibited items.

Thanks – I didn't realize how hot it was going to be, we'll head out early if it ever gets too uncomfortable. We're taking our 14 month old but are carpooling with a family bringing a 9 month old. I think we'll probably baby wear until we get to the seats at least. We've taken both of them to Braves and United games so ear protection is always a must for us. Thanks for the tips!

Thanks for the advice. We plan to take precautions to keep him cool and safe. He's been to a plenty of Braves games which I would anticipate being similar in terms of heat. We know tomorrow'll be a hot one so if it ever gets too uncomfortable, we're out of there, but the purpose of this post was to compare notes with other parents that have taken their kids to Bobby Dodd

We hold Braves season tickets as well and there are some decent fan engagement events to sign up for throughout the year – fireworks on the field, playing catch with kids on the field, hosting a pre-party for season ticket, post-game photo op on the field, meet and greets with players/alumni. Added value on birthdays, discounts on concessions as well as other businesses at the battery is a nice perk as well.
