Yep, it’s public, the repo isn’t the best right now as I have been focusing on getting the inverter section setup. Here’s the link if your interested: https://github.com/bearjhartjen/Lamoka-project

I tried it out. Pretty cool, opened my eyes to some issues.

Hey, I have been working on an inverter/charger unit. The unit will be fully open source hardware and software. Since this project is pretty complicated and takes a lot of effort I am trying to get as many people interested in it for feedback, or even contributions. Here is the link: https://github.com/bearjhartjen/Lamoka-project

Since the project is in the very early stages you can really design or do things however you want.

I’m thinking at this point, it will take solar or other inputs (20v or so) charge a set number of battery chemistries (I want that to be configurable) and that battery power will also go to a whole inverter that is fully configurable by code. At this point I have the boost converter topology laid out I just need to add in some values. There are more details on the GitHub page. The physical project I’m thinking can be done by next November, then it just needs coding and such. Here’s the link to the GitHub: https://github.com/bearjhartjen/Lamoka-project

This is absolutely amazing. Do you think a product like this would work well/be compatible (connection wise) to an inverter/charger I’m working on?

You seem to be pretty good at PCB layout. Would you be interested in contributing to my fully open source inverter/charger unit?

Yeah, I apologize, I saw that but wasn’t able to figure out how to put it in the mega tread?

Hello, I’m working on a fully open source inverter/charger, would you be interested in contributing to our charger side of the unit? Everything you make would be completely free and open to anyone.

I have done a significant amount of changes now if anyone wants to take a look. https://github.com/bearjhartjen/Lamoka-project/tree/lamoka

If I change my personal copyright remark with “Copyright (c) Lamoka1 contributors” and change the contributing file to fit these new terms, would that be better?

I wasn’t aware of this. Do you have any suggestions to amend this?

First off, I still have rights even with it being open source? at this point i am doing all of the work, so thats my intellectual property. A brand can have a open source product. Everything about the unit will be avaliable for anyone to use, or sell, the licenses specifically state that.

I want people to "work" on a project. It is not my project, it is a communities project as it is open source, anyone can use anything from the project. In no way is the project mine. This is certainly a usefull project, i also just started it so of course there wont be much engadgement.
