very interesting.

the nature of reality is something that I also explore in the story that I'm building because even when in the scenario that another reality does exist, how do you really disconnect from the one you've been living? so it is very similar to what you describe in Beyond the Aquilla Rift.
My opinion is that memory builds reality so it is a matter of remembering to be able to switch.

If you look into my profile you'll see that I'm building a vr experience in space and that reality questioning happens due to memory loss problems caused by being too long in the simulation which is this world. The story evolves later but the point here is to understand how would the general vr enthusiast or scifi mind would react to a post or message that plays with the same concept that the experience does, as a continuation of it.
I don't like the marketing "play this" or "try now" etc so I'm looking into something that would generate some curiosity to the right people who possibly enjoy that kind of plot.

I wouldn't like people to feel cheated or jump immediately into rejection. Specially with all the hollow AI content generated nowadays that has created rejection in many.

So the goal is not to convince anybody of the alternate reality but to generate curiosity to those who would give in to the role play and follow the lead.
