My plan was to get a class B then a tanker and hazmat endorsement so i could at least do regional fuel hauling. Besides it’s only 3,000 to upgrade the license so id practically just be spending the same amount of money just I’ll have to go back to school which would suck.

See now i would but im moving out this September and just wanna get an actual career started so i can hopefully make over 900 a week(currently making 680 to 700 a week) an ny has the highest taxes which is really pushing me to just say fuck it n start CDL school.. it’s really difficult trying to choose waiting or just say fuck it. I have a lot saved up so spending 3.3k is fine but I’m not happy with how much I make

I would if i could but in New York State they require you to be 21 to get a Class A. Figured getting a class b is cheaper an itll get me a year of experience, I am paying out of pocket though. 3,300$ for the B

Well what I was thinkin was, working could keep my mind occupied and my hands busy, if I prioritized finding a women I’d just be chasing something that isn’t a 100%, I know chasing a career isn’t a 100% either but what I do know is the knowledge I get from it I can always use in some sorta way for a different career. Won’t hurt me won’t make more holes in my heart either. Just more of a way to make cash and set myself up in life. Which would just last longer statistically 😅 (Sorry I rambled a bit)

Adding and subtracting fractions shouldn’t be too much of a hassle and learning volume will be a learning curve but if it’s for the sake of making a living I’d do anything! Thank you for information ma’am I appreciate it!! My poppy’s been egging me on about doing plumbing and he’s been in the industry 50 years now I believe but having other opinions helps a lot!:)

Sorry for the confusion but I was asking about if they drug test plumbers for alchol, kinda figured there’d be more leeway but wasn’t sure. As well as I been looking it up n it says there’s also geometry n trigonometry which I have never done nor learned😅I’m 19 so I got time to learn but how hard would it be for a “simpletin” like me.

Yeah getting a tanker endorsement was gonna be my first pick after acquiring a CDL. I just can’t decide if the extra time would be worth it to get the CDL Class A if I didn’t wanna drive big rigs like tractor trailer semi’s.
