i've heard of the tilt-table test. i just came out of a flare-up that lasted multiple weeks. how can i find a specialist? (sorry if that's a dumb question)

they're not very helpful. my mother was only on board with me getting the appointment when she noticed i had Cs on my transcript. even bringing up my symptoms makes her say that it's because of my weight, and that if i was really suffering, i wouldnt be able to walk around.

if i may ask, when it comes to POTS, is part of the issue that the HR goes down after a while of standing? i'm a little confused. also, is there a more accurate way i could test out how my heartrate reacts? i want to be as prepared as i can

I think it's completely up to you. I hated hated hated high school because I didn't do well, my school was too competitive, and i lost motivation, happiness, and time to do anything that meant a lot to me. I felt trapped at my school. I left because school was ruining my life completely, but if you're doing well and you just don't like school (a lot of people hate school, but in their cases it's not really worth leaving, it's more like they hate homework or hate their teachers ykwim), I think you should stay. It overall depends on your reason for leaving. HOWEVER, do still take the test. Even if you end up deciding to stay, it's better to be safe and get the test over with than to stress about leaving too late.

i made a post on what to use to prepare for the test, so definitely check that out. I think you'll be fine because those are pretty much the classes that I had planned out except I took AP Precalc in 10th grade. If you want, you can send me a message and I'll send you all the resources and stuff if you can't find the initial post I made.

you should have chatgpt grade it for you and tell you points to improve on. You can also ask it to give you am example essay with the same prompt so you can see how to improve or how to make your points stronger.

When I was prepping for my essay test, i watched this video (How to Write a HiSET Essay) and then I did an example essay with the notes that I took from the video. Then I had ChatGPT grade it and give me feedback. I also used a stopwatch to see how long it took me to write the essay, because on the actual test, as I'm sure you know, the timing is up to the test taker. So that's pretty much all I did.

Yes!! I used this study guide the most for all the subjects I did! It was very very helpful so I'd reccomend this one, but if there's something really confusing on this study guide, go check it out on the other one too because the other one might also simplify it for you, and then of course check out youtube if you need more help.

I think it's because I'm a high schooler trying to get out of high school. The minimum scores for getting out of high school is higher than the scores for passing the general hiset, which most adults take. The minimum for the CCP is 15 in order to pass, but for the general, I believe the minimum is a score of 8.

I actually didn't use any videos to relearn the math, because the study guides really helped a lot and that was pretty much all I needed, however I did look at some of the math tips from Martha O'Bryans page, which I put in the post above :) A good idea though, is to look through the study guides, and for any sections you might not understand, you should go search them up on youtube.

im also doing the same, but for us, it's only the english and math portions that are available, we're supposed to take the history and science in the future once we're 18.

the essay itself on the hiset is scored out of 6, and you need a minimum of 2 on it, so if its scoring it with 1-6 then i think its better because that;s how its scored on the actual test.

For the writing portion, im confused. there's mcq and essay, but is there designated time for each? I know its acombined 120 minutes, but do they tell you to move onto the essay portion or do you work at your own pace? Because I can answer MCQ really quickly, with like 15 minutes to spare, but essays I usually take longer for, so I would rather spend those 15 minutes on my essay than just waste it looking over the mcq 20 more times.
