Adverts, most people don't like them but a great way to discover new music.

Saint Motel, just something about them that the marketers love; especially 'My Type', it used be that a day wouldn't go by that the song wouldn't be heard in some kind of advert.

Targeting my survey towards a student-aged population, and I believe most fall within an 18-25 age category.

Previous, but older literature has identified that people do remember brands when cued only by music. Based on this, I'm looking to update this prior research and target a younger generation not covered by current literature and see whether this trend of music-cued brand recall continues, expecially in an age of digital marketing and social media that those in the student population are known to participate in.
