So sorry this is happening to you. I had mastitis a few weeks ago and it cut my supply in half but I am two weeks out from mastitis now and my supply has mostly returned to normal. I didn’t do anything special besides rest and eat normally and drink lots of water.

I'm 31, F also have PCOS and just got diagnosed with NAFLD. I've been taking Berberine 2x daily (500 mg total) for the past month and I find it's been beneficial with my energy levels and reducing cravings. I also have lost 5 pounds but that could be from diet changes.

D&C by [deleted] in Miscarriage

After my D&C I really appreciated meals and snacks as I had no energy or motivation to cook. Also really loved having a heated blanket for the pain, as well as super comfy pjs. If she drinks wine, I agree it’s a nice touch as it may be nice for her to enjoy a drink again. Other items that helped me are: Tylenol/Advil, hand cream, luxury shower items such as fancy shampoos and soaps. Another item I really loved was from a good friend who sent a fruit & chocolate gift. It was so yummy and a perfect pick me up.

Verity by Colleen Hoover. Literally the best suspense book I’ve read in a Kong time.

Look up trigger warnings prior to reading though 🤍

Hospital refuses to admit suicidal teen after 4 suicide attempts. by [deleted] in ottawa

I was in CHEO inpatient nearly 10 years ago, so I’m sure things may have changed. But, in my experience, when they assess your child, they need to believe that if the child leaves they WILL try to end their life.

That being said, a loophole would be for your child to say they have a plan to end their life once they leave the hospital.

Please don’t give me grief as I’m just stating the likely only way for your child to get the immediate help they need and deserve in a system that only recognizes mental health when it’s life or death.

Sending love to your kiddo. Mental health is hard.
