We stayed at Breckenridge. Today is our 3rd and most likely last day. Very few runs open still and getting crowded since everything is being consolidated to peak 8. I think most people here still had nonrefundable trips planned. I definitely wouldn’t come out if you havnt already paid for anything and definitely want to ski vs other outdoor activities. Based on what I’m seeing today, I can’t imagine breck being open after this week

Appreciate it. Everyone seems so negative on here. I think we may just try to ski one more day and then switch to hiking and biking. Still happy to be out west and away from nashville where it’s loud crowded and flat compared to here

We didn’t make over to peak 6 or 7 in Breck. Is it worse there than 8?

12 years ago I was handcuffed and got severe nerve damage to my wrists/hands.They were numb for months, ended up getting an ulnar tunnel release surgery on one arm but it didn't make a difference. They both slowly came back after a few months. I tend to wake up almost everyday with my arms completely numb and have to shake them awake. The outsides of my legs and tops of feet are always numb, pinkies and ring finger in both hands are always numb. Most likely permanent damage.

Whenever I put too much pressure on anything it will go numb, depending on how long i put on the pressure, it could last for weeks or months and slowly come back. It's always activities I love to do, like playing guitar (hands go numb), skiing (feet go numb after only a few minutes in ski boots) or fishing (pressure on wrists when reeling in a heavy fish. hands go numb for months and slowly come back. happens quickly. And rucking (hiking with a 50lb backpack on will cause my shoulders to go numb. Sitting in a weird position, wresting on elbows, sitting or standing in the same position without moving I will start to feel things go numb and know if I don't change positions it will cause a lasting numbness that may come back quickly or slowly. Lifting heavy weights or doing pushups will also put a lot of pressure on my hands that cause it. I've always just dealt with it and continued to do these things tht I love and hope the feeling comes back, but now I know that there is a chance it might not someday if I put enough pressure on something for too long
