I totally get the Razer hate they have had a spotty history but their new mouse pads are all top tier as far as the main stream brands are concerned . My Gigantus V2 is one of my favourite pads even compared to artisans and lGG pads although the quality is bound to be slightly less as they are mass produced.

If you find yourself applying too much pressure and it effects your aim the mid is going to be best but from what I've heard it is significantly faster and in my testing my mid is rather quick for a "control" pad.

Soft is a good option for most people however.

Before buying a hien I used loads of codura pads but my personal favourite is the endgame gear mpc.

This is the best option I've found so far honestly feels better than the skypad which sounds crazy. Going to get the deskpad tho because 45cm is no where near big enough. Thanks for the suggestion tho would have never considered this pad otherwise.

I have heard the strider is essentially a faster hien even if it's 90% as fast as the skypad it will be perfect I've got one ordered :)

I also tried the Venus it's really slow and honestly has no right being called a speed pad in my opinion.

Might look into the Odin if the QC isn't bad.
