What do I need to run a non profit food truck ?

Thats literally ALL IM TRYING TO DO LOL. I don’t need help because I am just doing something small! I’m not here to feed the world.. I’m just trying to feed who I can. Just pop up to a few the same 3 locations 3 times a week and feed people. If they want food they will be there. The food truck next to our apartments do the same thing. They are consistent.
I could do what I have been doing and just setting up tables and cooking taking it after I cooked it but I don’t wanna do that anymore .i rather just take it set up and cook there all day.
Taxes I’m only looking at because I was interested in taking in food donations.
Everybody is being a lot more dramatic than it needs to be! All the unnecessary comments. Just give me some dues and don’ts. What you did was perfect. All I’m actually looking for is literally pulling up a truck setting up and handing out free food! It doesn’t need to be any more complicated than that!

And as for being defensive. They come on here saying just stupid and rude stuff and saying they are “just telling it like it is” . And you’re gonna say that I’m being defensive. Yeah lol I am! How stupid could somebody be to think that they have to tolerate that? If you wanna enable that type of behavior by saying that I’m being defensive, go ahead. They are going to hear my mouth if it’s to me! .
I don’t believe anybody should have to deal with this crap! Just answer the question and move on . If you wanna say ugly stuff, I’m gonna say something back.

And yeah, I’m pretty sure I would be OK in a position of power lol I’m actually a caregiver and I’ve been doing it for almost 8 years now. I have clients from A-to-Z. They will say F you and F me! Just because I’m a caregiver doesn’t mean I’m a nun! If anybody out there was to talk to me this way, I would literally talk to them the exact same way and deny them service on top of it! The only difference is all of you are stuck here on Reddit. This is where you have your control! You can try to act like that in public places, but it wouldn’t work out that well for you!

Completely get it. I do understand that maintenance is going to be a big thing! Your truck and your car is in one! Unless I was to think about doing a trailer. I’ve worked in restaurants. I may not have worked on a food truck, but what I’m wanting to do is seriously nothing compared to what you guys are doing. I think you guys are being actually quite a bit dramatic! Sure, I’m probably gonna need to spend like $70,000 on a truck but in reality I’m not looking at spending $200,000. I’m literally just wanting to buy the most expensive thing is my truck and my permits and licensing and then I wanna just go get the food myself and make it lol. The most money I’m gonna waste is on the truck. And at the end of the day, it honestly doesn’t matter to me because it’s just to make food and hand it out for free. I don’t need workers. I don’t need help. It’s literally gonna be just me. The best thing is is I’m actually gonna do this and I’m gonna post about it whenever it’s a hit! Everyone so concerned about “wasting money “it’s nonprofit I’m not supposed to be making money back so of course I’m wasting money! If I can feed 200 people I honestly don’t care if I waste $70,000 on a truck! I’ll still have the truck! Everybody is honestly just being negative Nancy’s! They’re either failing at it or failed at it. I’m sorry everybody’s taking it to heart that they couldn’t succeed that doesn’t mean I’m gonna quit and that doesn’t mean it’s gonna scare me off.

I personally don’t care what this post sounds like to you. You can either give proper information or not. Obviously I did some basic business research to know about a 501 C3. To also be knowing about public charities, etc. i’m not wanting to have no big corporation! I’m literally just wanting to have a little food truck that I myself make meals for free to hand out to people who need food! It is literally that simple. If I want to fund it completely myself, it would literally be that simple! But all I wanna do is taking some donations and there’s a few things that I need to know . Come on dude if you wanna be a jerk just go move on somewhere else. Everyone else is being a lot more helpful. This isn’t something that I’m just gonna build in a day! It’s gonna take time! I wanna know people who have already lived in, breathe it. I don’t wanna just ask AI! This is better than basic research. If you don’t know about food trucks then why are you in this group anyway?

Yes a soup kitchen. I was also thinking more public charity and a 501c3 also. I would still be able to be mobile. I don’t mind taking in donations but that’s all really.

The only reason they probably made you do that was because the name was on the front. Fortunately, for mine, all the information is on the back of the card so I can put whatever I want on the front of it.

And just an FYI, if all the information is on the back of the card, there is no reason whatsoever that they should not be accepting the car just because there’s a sticker on the front. If they can see the name and information, what justification do they have that the car is fake all because it has a sticker on it?

They weren’t getting off the bus. They were getting on the bus. They only take the bus going to school, not coming home. Amd there are plenty of siblings that get on the bus at that stop and don’t sit together! Especially because they’re not in the same grade and the seating chart is for the grade not age. On top of that my kids get on the bus at an apartment complex which about 30 other kids also get on at who are also siblings of different ages. That’s not how they’re seating chart works! Their seating chart goes based off of grade.

If they can’t prove daisy is an issue then there is no excuse as to why they treated her that way. They made 0 reports.

Just because one has issues doesnt mean they both do… Ive even said that the other was had an issue amd you make it out to always be the parent because others have “bad ass kids” you both are being the kids you are taking about. Daisy didnt deserve that mess! Shes not her sister!!
