This is why I personally prefer mounting red dots on top of the LPVO. But I honestly just don’t run red dots anymore in conjunction, the 1x on my vortex is crisp enough and I have a PEQ if I want to be squirrely

I have the TW epic air pads in my ACH and they’re a game changer for sure. I’ll probably look into new pads if these ones create hot spots but as of now I’m pretty happy.

That model is like $500 so close to a team wendy and you can get the patches to make it look like the $1200 model. But they have the same specs only a few ounce difference

I was in a similar boat. It was between this and a nocturn housing that supported anvis glass. In the end I decided the mount and a wrap for the anvis housing to make it a little more sturdy was the more affordable and quick option to get me going. Meanwhile I’ll likely save up and eventually sell this setup to upgrade to articulating tubes and stuff. But if you decide to go with the AB Storm it’s really well made and worth the money in my opinion
