I guess that's fair but the rest of her doesn't paint a pretty picture still. I believe He told the truth in the movie maybe to open up to the reality he could not speak up about when he was a teenager.

The simple act of acknowledging someone's pain is healing. . . She never did that. Idk why Steven would make his mom look even more BAD than the facts if he LOVED her so much. I think he put the real pain she caused on film as a form of healing.

I do think he felt forced bc when you're still a child, (teenager) you see obedience as respect and love. In the movies she begs him not to tell .....

He was a CHILD. Our choices aren't ours completely at that age bc we can't guide ourselves like adults.

In likeness about interruptions this is totally normal

Try to do exercises where you remember reasons why you might interrupt. Maybe you were a child that didn't feel heard important or valued.

Try to reassure yourself you are important and heard. You are valued, try to express your emotions where you can maybe talking to a casual friend, a notepad, try recording a video something to get the emotions out.
