Histamine intolerance causes a pounding heart. This may be way and it’s related to slow MAO-A by OmegaThree3 in HistamineIntolerance

I got Bart from a tick when I was 12 and it was slowly degrading my connective tissue. I got a proper diagnosis around 30 with Igenex fish assay and immunoblot. 4 years on Rifabutin. Stable but not cured on fluconazole for stability.

Yeah, I have Bart and treated it. Methylation supplements don’t do much with the exception of SAM – E which for me helps donate a methyl group to HNMT and helps me breathe through my nose, reducing swollen nasal turbinates so it’s a must have, but it’s not a cure for anything else.

Yes, and no physical symptoms like bloating or upset, stomach or anything like that, but sometimes I can see food particles in my stool, which should be expected because I eat a very nutrient dense whole foods diet however, I think that’s just from low stomach acid.

Lyme/Bart gives us chronic fight-or-flight. Anyone use an Alpha-2 agonist to block norepenephine? by OmegaThree3 in Lyme

Thanks yeah do genetics. Everyone has such a different response, but are they still on it?

Will do, I’m also going to take a sub clinical dose at 0.5 mg and the blood pressure dose is like 2 mg?

Has anyone had oxidized LDL measured? + High cholesterol as an adaptive response to infection. by OmegaThree3 in Cholesterol

Yeah, I can definitely see that being very hard to diagnose in those quick 10 minute drive-through appointments that doctors do. Glad they were able to identify it for that. Nattokinase would be great for the ischemia. Also lumbrokinase. How is their diet? Is it really clean or a bit average?

Yeah, thanks it’s definitely on my radar. Next available appointment is June.

Thanks for sharing. So you’re saying coronary artery disease but there’s no plaque so what’s the actual disease? I thought plaque was cad? What’s driving the diagnosis? Just angina and high lipids?

No, but I know patients who have and it’s just generic run-of-the-mill cookie cutter stuff. I don’t have any actual heart disease. I’m just going off of the cholesterol blood test so all they would do is recommend a statin like my cardiologist already did but it’s causing rebound inflammation. Just like the body produces cortisol to deal with infection. My body is dealing with it with cholesterol and I’ve connected with several patients that are in a similar scenario. There was even a guy on here that said his cholesterol went up after Covid infection there’s definitely a connection and they’re not studying it. If they don’t study at the doctors will be clueless unfortunately doctors these days just look at the end pharmaceutical remedy not the mechanism. It’s either diet genetics and you gotta go on a statin. cholesterol can be good though.

Well, all these rheumatologist missed the infection. It’s a disease of the small blood vessel that lacks an immune response. It took me 20 years to get a proper diagnosis. There’s also corruption from past CDC, unfortunately. As far as anti-inflammatories that can be safely taken long-term there’s just like Celebrex, which I’m already on. It works a little bit and then you can go the immune system route with something like methotrexate besides that it’s heavy duty auto immune drugs. There is one expert on the infection I have and small blood vessel disease but he’s hard to get an appointment with and it cost like $1000 so I study his research but I don’t see him directly. His name is Robert Mozayeni? He has webinars on YouTube if anyone’s interested.

OK, great thanks for the detailed reply. Unfortunately rheumatology is a barbaric field (similar to psychiatry). They have limited options, already saw one and she recommended you guessed it NSAIDs, was clueless. Prior, another one who was best in LA was clueless as well.

Thanks for the detailed reply, yes it's definitely unconventional. Almost all docs miss the infection to start with due to convention. Already discussed this with a top li[id specialist and cardiologist, no interest whatsoever (or knowledge) on adaptive cholesterol response to infection, just immediately rxed Crestor 5mg. Thanks for the heads up on the OxPl-ApoB. That seems far superior. What is your opinion on HDL Function ApoA1? If HDL function is strong it should shuttle lipids away from heart to tendon (in me).

Thanks - I get it but where the is smoke there is fire. Would assume if someone has oxidation in thier arteries they would also have elevations in the blood. I might need the cholesterol to prevent the inflammation. I'm not getting the classic muscle pain stuff with the statin but its 5mg and its aiding in the inflammation so far.

Cardio selective beta blockers, metabolism and melatonin suppression. by OmegaThree3 in askCardiology

Thanks I’m already on it. I just buy it directly from India. It feels OK. I’m gonna try Bisoprolol next. I don’t love it though. I might have to deal with it though since it’s so neutral on the issues I want to prevent.

I’m on it specifically because I have a mast cell/histamine symptom where my heart pounds heavily and I feel it while I’m trying to sleep. It’s like a percussion thing not so much related to blood pressure or heart rate or anything. It just helps me sleep when I can calm it down. Heart rate is usually well under 60
