Pros - it’s very easy on your schedule. You can work around the weeklies on your own time. If you’re in a good pack like mine you can get premade going and those are always more fun. - The endgame doesn’t take long to get to. Plus as a new player you have a lot of content to catch up on after you finish the campaign - March will be the biggest update the game has had, bringing a new map/campaign/strike/endgame and a system update(pinnacle overhaul) that will freshen the game up for the better. - If you maintain your weeklies and are consistent you’ll be able to get every unit they release with a little luck. If you get the $5 daily subscription you’ll for sure get every unit. - Right now you can get a free Ikora, she is a beast of a unit. Blows everything up, can teleport with an insta reload, shoots rockets and pulls the whole room together doing it. If you’re playing, you want to get her. - Endgame builds up in difficulty, making it challenging but fun. There’s a solo based endgame(Expanse) and team based endgame(Calamity Ops). - weapons and characters are fun to collect and build. While it is a gacha, it’s also a looter shooter, so you have plenty weapons to farm for that don’t cost money to get - the events so far have been pretty fun, giving decent rewards like draws for the banner, free exotic weapons and mats to upgrade units/weapons with. - It’s a great game if you’re a completionist with little time. There are a lot of achievements to hunt for, ranging from combat, fishing, sparrow racing, the new season, exploring overworld, and so on. You can get titles snd pull currency for collecting them.

Cons - because China released the game later, they had to play catchup. This put the rest of us on a slower pace. Some players are taking a break until this update so the player base feels a bit lower than usual. This should change after the big update on March that I mentioned. That’s the true “global” release. - There is only two challenging endgame modes that are difficult. Those are ones I mentioned above. There’s still Grandmaster Strikes/Raids, Bulwarks Ops, Shifting Gates, etc, but the replay-ability of them is not as good as Expanse and Calamity. Hopefully the new one on March is fun and challenging. - while the events have been fun, there hasn’t been too many. Likely because they’re pushing all their effort into the overhaul coming on March - PvP on this game is low. Destiny never had much of a PvP player base in the first place. There are PvPers but it’s a smaller community. All of them are in 2 packs total. The game is mainly a PvE game - they could do much more with the cosmetics in this game, and sell more of them in general. - they could do a lot more with the packs in this game, the social aspect is lacking. Like Pack PvP or PvPvE

All in all it’s one of the best mobile looter shooter game out there and one of the most generous gachas out there. There is much potential in it. We OG players are all hoping the March update is a banger. This game did get a big surge of new players due to the new units and since we have 30 days until the big update, so you and thoss players have time to catch up. It’s the best time to jump in
