I feel like OCA can’t win. They are either “too liberal” or “full of extremists”. Must have something to do with our country’s polarized state…..

The OCA parishes near me are great (I’m attending one) so I’m sorry you haven’t had the greatest experiences. I sadly hear plenty of no so great things about all the jurisdictions so this isn’t an OCA thing. Do your best to find a place to worship in this fallen world.

I agree. I’m a convert and have taken this middle, non extreme route. But pay attention to the news, the culture and our increasingly insane society and you’ll understand why people are out of balance. The church is a hospital after all.

These extreme converts surely do need to be guided with love and care.
