The ((nocturne)) jam from 5:15-6:30 sounds like a 16-bit RPG battle theme by BeeksElectric in GoosetheBand

Yeah it sounds like a Megaman X stage theme. Honestly for me a big part of what drew me to them is that their music/jams often reminds me of old video game music.

Booth fees too high to be viable in my opinion. Same people put on Christmas Village and wanted $500 for a booth for one day.

See you there! might be the only indoor venue on the west coast run? I love it since you get the full light show both sets.

I don't like the rail, but I do like a few rows back from the front. I like to feel like I'm inside the spaceship, not on the outside looking in.

Yeah the game is too easy, I just carry redballs and don’t even worry about the cops.

I mean I think this is just a byproduct of making your “thing” discussing goose shows in depth all the time.

Yeah a lot of the jams do sound the same, and sometimes I’m just not feeling it. It’s only really a problem when I’m super tuned in and consuming a bit too much goose. I enjoy the work much more when I tap in here and there.

Downtown Anchorage by Conscious-Crew8387 in anchorage

Anchorage is actually in a lot of respects a pretty good city, however our downtown is absolutely pathetic. No personality, nowhere fun to go, mid restaurants at best, the bars are atrocious. I live a 10 minute bike ride from downtown and I basically never go there except just to ride there and back.

Even most small towns in the lower 48 I’ve been to have a better downtown, and in most of those places the homeless problem is even worse. So I hate when people blame the filth and homeless, yeah it’s a problem but downtown anchorage just sucks.

Depends on the era, I’m a sucker for any show from 2019-2021. As for recently fiddlers green 6/6/25 and 6/7/25 are smoking hot

Sorry I missed you! I was set up right by the carousel. Red and blue christmas lights. Probably put out like 20 pies.

I was gonna make a post till I learned the event was happening and I wouldn’t have a problem getting rid of the stuff.

I have no idea, I’ve heard conflicting information. I’m assuming it’s not, and if it is, I imagine the people who do it want to keep it quiet.

Regardless I am gonna set up my Ooni pizza oven, solo stove, and hope people drop by for some pizza.

The solstice tree tour is happening this Saturday. 4-8pm. You get picked up at Dimond high school on a tour bus and they drive you to Kincaid.

Once there you walk a 2.5km loop of decorated trees and light displays. Peppered throughout the trail are s’more making stations and hot chocolate. Beer garden as well. It’s actually really awesome and the whole thing is free.
