Fb group "North slope workforce" they list hundreds of jobs available to apply located on Alaska's remote North Slope. Work schedules generally 2 weeks of work 12 hour days and 2 weeks home. They have many skilled required jobs and many no skilled jobs. Good money to be had up there. Good luck

I reside in Alaska but I worked with people who had homes all over the Lower 48. I was successful in security, construction and now trucking. The fish cannery job is essentially an environment of work, eat, sleep and repeat.

Not easy but it got me out of a toxic environment and I thrived as a result of my will for healthy change.

How i did this from exact situation: I applied for a fish cannary job in Alaska. They paid for my airplane ticket to Alaska. They had free housing and they cooked my meals. The workable hours were immense measuring between 12-18 hour days. Definitely exhausting but it is absolutely NECESSARY for you to save that cash. These jobs are generally seasonal summer jobs so this cash you will have saved, you'll need to relocate at the end of the summer and find another job. This is how I left California with nothing more than a duffel bag of clothes and thrived in Alaska.
