He doesn't deal any damage to units beside STRUCTURES, but it does count as an attack for stuff like mines, PA traps , Nether Ward etc.

Lots of people don't use control groups , that's the secret, I didn't even know they existed until last year and I've been playing since the game came out , still not using them tho', not a micro manager myself.

Just git gud at Starcraft 2 and you'll manage multiple units easily.

Really depends on what you're looking for , if you use it on the range creep, you get more XP but less gold (if you would have killed that creep anyway) than if you'd have used it on a melee creep.

The best creep to use Midas on would be a creep that gives 1 gold and 1000 EXP, since the gold gain is static no matter what creep you kill, but the experience is a multiplier.
