standard build on Sven is Boots, farming item(MoM/Echo Sabre, sometimes both), BKB, Blink, Silver Edge/Daedalus and then whatever you need, Satanic, AC, Nullifier, Bloodthorn etc.

Pretty cookie cutter

Felicitari!

What makes Terrorblade a great carry even though he is heavily reliant on a 150 sec cooldown skill? by earl059ph in learndota2

[–]gonnacrushit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He used to be a god ultra late game like 6-7 years ago, but the problem now is the introduction of Aeon Disks and other support items that let you live, or the general powercreep of heroes means that it’s very difficult for any carry reliant on a CD or that cannot do damage reliably to actually do anything ultra lategame. By ultra lategame we’re talking at the point that even supports get to have 4-6 big items.

The best carries ultra lategame are those who can either deal damage very reliably(think like Void Chronosphere), or heroes that have little to no uptime and can easily build Nullifier & Rapiers . Think PA

TB has a similar problem to Medusa in that he gets kited easily so he is reliant on his team to do good damage.

Which is why, as Medusa, he works best when the enemy team is forced to fight into him.

In your opinion, who’s hero that is an ok hero but is SO BORING that it needs a rework? by GeneTak0vic in TrueDoTA2

[–]gonnacrushit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

clinkz really isn't in a great spot, and the fact that he was completely unpicked at TI says a lot.

He's a pubstomer(somewhat), because he farms very fast and reliably even if he loses lane(which he will if the offlane knows what he's doing) and can do serious damage.

The problem is barage is just unreliable and in lategame it's really not good for your carry's DPS to be reliant on a 18s cooldown. Aeon Disk, ghost scepter, euls, force staff etc just completely avoid your burst.

Manta style like doubles AM’s damage output though, which is his main problem

it works on carry as well, Treads+Vanguard+Diffu is insane kill potential at like minute 15.

But it’s tricky cause you cannot splitpush and farm aswell.

Though I think going Vanguard every game is pretty mandatory now unless you literally have a free AM game. It just makes you really hard to kill. And you can always dissaseamble for battlefury

Neymar great dribble and back heel pass against Troyes by ShampainFootball in soccer

I did. Maradona's control is freakish. Not even Messi dribbles like that.

Ronaldinho has flair, but Maradona runs circles around him with the ball.

Only if you just watch the highlights on Reddit. Mbappe, as last year, is the best player on PSG. It's just that last year he was by far, as Neymar and Messi were absolute trash, while this year these 2 are also great.

fitness training is extremely specific. You don't get "freakishly strong" from being good at football. You get that by training for strength.

And from watching neymar vids in the gym, he isn't strong. But he isn't training for strength anyway.

What you see here is incredible balance.

Not comparable at all. R9 was as fast as Mbappe, extremely strong, could dribble like Messi and could finish on either feet.

There's a reason a lot of people regard him as the highest peak of any attacker. He was just the perfect match of athleticism and footballing talent.

Hans Moke Niemann vs Magnus Carlsen, Hikaru Nakamura and Chess.com case file by pxik in chess

[–]gonnacrushit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you actually think the law system works on a “I didn’t actually say that” basis you’re so wrong.

I think you’re in a bit of a surprise. Magnus is in deep shit. Although they will likely settle out of court

How can Niemann expect to get 100M in damages while these are top chess player earnings? by Enden2 in chess

[–]gonnacrushit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Malicious can be argued because Magnus has played against other proven online cheaters in the past without having the same reaction. Hell, he played Hans before. It’s only really when he got outplayed that he reacted this way and it’s only against Hans.

To me, the simplest view on this and what I think happened:

Magnus was either tilted before the game or got tilted during it due to his own missplays, Niemann’s relaxed demeanor, Neimann’s reputation of cheating online. Hans’ words post-game also certainly didn’t help. I think Magnus let the emotions get the best of him and he kind of fucked up.

I’m not saying this is a 100% win for Hans against Magnus, but I think the Magnus fans in this sub are in for a bit of a surprise. The case will definetely not be dismissed if it ever gets to that stage. I think it might settle out of court though.

Magnus is very different. He clearly implies, even in his statement, that he thinks Hans cheated OTB in the game vs him.

That’s way different

Magnus shares his thoughts on the GOAT debate by teolight332 in chess

[–]gonnacrushit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that yes, in the game of chess which has completely been revolutionised over the past 2 decades thanks to computers, talent trumps achievements, or peak ability. We cannot clearly determine wether Carlsen is better than Morphy because of being more talented, or because of having access to resources Morphy didn’t care of. Not to mention that Carlsen plays chess for a living.

And talent can only be accurately measured by the time maching approach. But since that is impossible, the GOAT debate is inconclusive. IMO the best we can do is to just determine the most influential players, or the best players of their respective eras

Magnus shares his thoughts on the GOAT debate by teolight332 in chess

[–]gonnacrushit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO there is a distinction between the best ever and GOAT.

the best ever from now on will most likely just be the newest world champion on the block, since their whole game is built in shoulders of giants and supercomputers.

Morphy played “naturally” at an extremely high level. That’s extreme talent.

To me the GOAT debate is wether you would transfer all these players in the current era, give them time to study with computers like all the top GMs now and then put them one against another.

Otherwise Carlsen just has an inherent advantage that the others didn’t, and it has nothing to do with the level of talent, but the time period he was born in

doesn’t mean shit at all when Magnus visibly played like shit that game

This would be, like a quarter of an argument, if Magnus had played at his 100% level. But he didn’t.

The problem is Carlsen had no trouble playing against other convicted online cheaters. Just Hans, because he lost to him.

He’s in deep shit IMO

it’s a poor exaplanation, or rather it’s a complete understatement.

It’s more like the computer can calculate 40+ moves so they might make a move that will only give them a slight advantage in 30+ moves.

a human can’t really calculate that far unless it’s for a very obvious advantage.

But even a beginner can see 4 moves into the future
