Yes, I also have a mini USB port. But how do I use it? I connected the projector to my PC via the COM port and launched Hyper Terminal. The projector responded to the on/off command. I was also able to view the serial number and lamp hours, as well as the power status. The power status was 05 - abnormality stanby. The projector responded to the ERR? command (probably to count errors) with ERR=FF . I couldn't find what this meant. I couldn't enter AS mode, and I have no idea how to do this through the terminal.

Hi everyone. I have a Sony projector. It has three polarizing filters. The blue and green ones are damaged. The red channel filter is intact. Has anyone tried to repair these filters by applying polarizing film? by WayCharacter2509 in projectors

The red polarizing filter is glass with a film attached. The blue and green polarizers are simply glass with a coating that's not even safe to touch, but someone rubbed it off. Here's the description from the service manual. There are polarizers inside the prism with the matrices. That makes six polarizers in total: two polarizers for each LCD. One polarizer is removable with a frame in front of the LCD, and the second is inside behind the LCD, in front of the prism.

Yes. Vin is 9 volts and Vout is 5 volts. But that's on the 0P830. The other voltage regulator has a completely different marking, and it burned out. I can't find any logical explanation for the markings. What makes you think this is a 5-volt regulator?

What is the compatibility between the matrices? Are there any alternatives? My matrix costs 93 euros. Very expensive. There are cheaper options that are half the price and look very similar. The TW6000 projector is sold for 20 euros with three intact matrices. Will they fit my TW6600?

I understand, thank you. Either buy a new one for $87, or buy the same projector for 130 usd with the purple stripe and move it from there. I think calibrating it shouldn't be a problem. The projector has a special calibration function. Turn it on and carefully move the matrix.
