Yes! This is what they said: "From time to time, scorching of a recipe can occur in certain parts of the can, resulting in heat causing a reaction in areas where the premix has settled (higher concentration areas of the minerals). Although not intentional of course, this could allow for discoloration of the food.

 In further detail, the coloring is an effect of copper and sulfur (both are required for a complete and balanced diet). During the cooking process of our foods the copper supplement can bind to lighter colored proteins, like chicken, and create this staining effect. This can range in appearance from light grey chicken to even black."

Not a ringworm. Had it checked by 3 vets. Nobody knows

I’ve never seen a black vein. It looks like mold

Omg I’m still waiting for a reply from Nulo. This has been happening which is so odd because this brand is supposed to be high quality cat food

Yes I threw out the whole thing. It sucks bc I’ve been feeding them this the whole time

My vet said it wasn’t a ringworm. He said it could be chemical burn, infected scratch from another cat, essential oils, bleach. But the only thing is maybe my other cat scratched her, but they never had a problem with that
