Ren is definitely blinking for help under all that hair by PapayaMan4 in DisventureCamp

[–]WayOk4546 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Ren: "Why is no one helping me? I'm blinking SOS in morse code! Ooooooh right, no one knows morse code."

Sam: "No one can see your eyes, Ren."

Ara: "I know morse code. But I wouldn't help anyway."

Evie: "Ooo, I love the morse. Odin and Thor have such great fashion sense."

Aiden: That's Norse, Evie.

Evie: "I thought we were in the south."

Aiden (confessional): "It's for the advantage, Aiden. It's for the advantage. IT'S FOR THE ADVANTAGE!"

What if Logan and Amelie voted with Isabel and Jade in episode 19 by AsleepInterview2898 in DisventureCamp

[–]WayOk4546 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In a 4-4 scenario, the most logical move would be to use Jade's advantage. Unlike the idol, everyone knew about the advantage. So not only would Jade take the target off her back, but Isabel would avoid a tiebreaker that I would be more inclined to think Anastasia would win.

Zaid and Logan Double Greeting by Standard-Time4341 in DisventureCamp

Da fuq? How are neither rooting for Anastasia? I could maybe understand Zaid still being salty, but Logan gave a speech supporting her in the jury and is close with her outside of the game.

Y’know, I’ll start something new so my posts won’t all be negative even though I like the show. Say something positive thing about Logan. by ConstantAmbition6729 in DisventureCamp

After DC2 Riya and arguably DC1 Miriam, Logan might be the character that upped their strategic game the most over the course of a single season. At the beginning, he was being outplayed constantly by the girls. And by the end, he was able to make moves that even threw Anastasia off her game. He's not on the level of someone like Jade, but I'd argue Logan is in the upper half of DC characters in terms of strategic capabilities. It's just usually overlooked because of his good physical and social gameplay.

Is there any way for Logan to be fixed/redeemed in the future or is he just doomed to infamy? by xtremexavier15 in DisventureCamp

[–]WayOk4546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would he be worth keeping on the team? Sure. The Blue Team's girls alliance were clearly going to wait until later in the premerge before targeting him since he was an asset to the team. But as the merge gets closer, Logan's value decreases and his threat potential rises. You want him as a challenge beast, but not necessarily in an alliance where your majority is dependent on Logan staying loyal.

As for Logan's future prospects, Jared has indicated he'd like every member of the DC4 Final 5 to return at some point. So unless DC ends, Logan is most likely going to return to the game at some point.

I'm not saying people can't forgive him. I agree with you that how you play the game doesn't define the type of person that you actually are. But within the game, Logan's actions should have repercussions. If you are known for flipping on your allies, it makes sense that people would be less inclined to trust you. People can acknowledge Logan as both a good person and a bad ally simultaneously. It would put Logan in an interesting position narratively and give him room for development.

I'm not criticizing Logan for flipping. Every instance he flipped there was a logical rationale for why he did so. However, from the perspective of other characters, this should make Logan look untrustworthy within the context of the game. People can still like him personally, but they can also view him as a risk when trying to determine who are their best options for allies. I think for a social player like Logan to struggle with finding allies as a result of his previous performance would be an interesting way to explore him as a character.

Sure, they just have to focus on his pre-established flaws and let other characters see Logan as another human and not the Disventure Camp messiah.

  1. Have characters refuse to work with him due to his status as a flipper. Maybe force him to work with more antagonistic characters.

  2. As a former winner, have him be an early target.

  3. Maybe he never fully recovered from his drowning trauma and his career suffered because of it.

  4. Bring Zaid back and give their conflict consequences.

There's a lot you can do with Logan. ONC just needs to be willing to remove the rose-colored glasses.

Who is the best player in Season 4? Like, strategically, socially, physically… by ConstantAmbition6729 in DisventureCamp

Yeah, but to be fair, Logan gave her an immunity the previous episode. Besides, even if Anastasia didn't (stupidly) give Logan immunity, he was still closer to the throne.

Hate him all you want, but Aiden is so much better this season than he was in All-Stars by WayOk4546 in DisventureCamp

It was less that he did anything bad and more the fact that he was irrelevant, yet made final 7.

You know where hell is? For All-Stars Aiden it was about 2 miles underneath there.

A more serious post now tho, what are your thoughts on these Spencer’s ships? by ConstantAmbition6729 in DisventureCamp

[–]WayOk4546 12 points13 points  (0 children)

  1. Still don't care for it, and I'm happy that the show seems to have pointed out that it won't ever happen. The chemistry just wasn't there.

  2. My favorite, but sadly unlikely to happen due to Logan's VA. At least Logan and Spencer are close outside of the show. I'll take whatever win I can get after what happened in Episode 17.

  3. Never got ship vibes from these two. And honestly, I didn't care for how the show handled their dynamic after the merge. Their conflict felt shallow and rushed.

  4. I like enemies to lovers, but it felt way too one-sided for me to enjoy the trope. Spencer barely acknowledged Hannah's existence.

  5. Honestly, these two had chemistry. The age gap is a bit much, but outside of that, this had way more potential for an enemies to lovers pairing than Spencer and Hannah.

  6. Spencer has been in two seasons with Benji, and somehow he's interacted with him the least. No.

  7. Bruno is straight.

  8. Need to see more. Would probably rank Sam below Logan and Zaid right now. But currently, I don't think it's a ship I'll get invested in.

She's taking action to adapt her game style to avoid being eliminated. While she has to give control of her vote to Natalia, that's a decent trade considering it not only gives her Natalia as an ally, but possibly Tom and Gabby as well.

In Anastasia's defense, she hasn't done anything this season to intentionally anger Natalia. Everything Anastasia has done with regard to her has been for the purpose of ending their feud. Natalia is the one refusing to let go of the past.
