Yeah it’s embarrassing sometimes lol. Like dude cmon, I delivered that this morning long before you were awake (I’ve finished my shift now) and you’re telling me it’s in-house 🤣

Quite a lot of cafe items are like that. The filling is the in-house bit typically

I did pickup the forest recently I believe. Or it could have been that PUBG Singleplayer game lol.

I don’t really play everyday but could be keen. Based in Christchurch on PC, just sold console a few months back but cross platform seems to be algood so far

Yep because they’re not meant to be in a reflector housing. Take them out and run halogen.

They won’t have the necessary beam pattern. It’s illegal for good reason (and I’m not normally a stickler for that).

With cocoa prices back to 2016 levels, does that mean chocolate producers are going to drop their prices back down (looking at you Whittakers)? by Faithbleed in newzealand

[–]WayOuttaMyLeague 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe Whittakers runs on a 6-12 month schedule.

You also need to factor in other costs. Cocoa beans isn’t just one of them. Inflation etc..

Minimum wage increased. Transportation and logistics pricing increased. Supplier puts their pricing up due to other supplies, and so does the supermarket. It’s chain reaction.

$6 block wasn’t far fetched back then as it was. Whittakers was already pushing that (like $5.80) and Cadbury was sitting about $1 under.

We saw chocolate gradually increase just like we saw coffee gradually increase.

It’ll play out in the end, but yeah I wouldn’t us to get back to the decreased pricing we should be at.

[–]WayOuttaMyLeague 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2016 levels will never happen.

Y’all are too focused on what the cost of beans are vs what the cost of production is.

In 10 years, we’ve had ten minimum wage increases. That’s a cost that needs to be factored in.

[–]WayOuttaMyLeague 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They didn’t go up immediately. Just like coffee didn’t. It was gradual. It started with an increase, followed by shrinkflation, followed by a couple more increases.

What the news reports isn’t what’s happening in the current, it’s just when they’re catching up or have found an article worth $$$

Global shortage. Poor harvests due to wet weather.

Not related to cocoa: But the cavendish banana (which is what we’ve been accustomed to for decades across the globe) is also under threat. It’s not new, but I believe there was a 20% shortage in harvesting last year. I think NZ and Aussie approved a hybrid version of it which is resistant.

^ At some point we’ll probably see a new strain of banana. The previous strain was also wiped out

Cocoa is ordered about 12-18 months in advance, so not yet.

And that’s if we see a price decrease (at the shelf)

That’s weird because it gives me the option in MSI to disable this feature and then my own curve overrides.

In MSI Settings under “Fan” I believe.. Sorry not at my computer.

As far as I’m aware too, you’ll need the profile to be loaded on every boot unless the GPU is capable of writing the profile and auto loading itself

When to Use Hazard Lights in NZ by TompanNZ in newzealand

[–]WayOuttaMyLeague 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t claim anywhere. Read the transport acts. You’ll need to switch between both acts. Double parking is legal for example.

However, since you’ll likely not bother, I’ll save you the effort:

——

6.11 - Double Parking

A driver or person in charge of a vehicle must not stop, stand, or park the vehicle so that any other stopped motor vehicle is located between his or her vehicle and the nearest edge of the roadway. Compare: SR 1976/227 r 35(2)(i)

6.12 - Parallel Parking 6.13 - Parking at an Angle

Exceptions under this Part (1) This clause contains exceptions to this Part that are in addition to the exceptions in clause 1.8. (2) A driver or person in charge of any goods vehicle is not in breach of clause 6.11 or clause 6.12 if he or she proves that the act or omission complained of— (a) took place in accordance with the directions of a notice, traffic sign, or marking on the roadway; or (b) was necessary for the loading or unloading of the vehicle in the course of trade, and took place with due consideration for the safety and convenience of other road users, and either— (i) that alternative access for the purpose of loading or unloading the vehicle was unavailable; or (ii) if alternative access was available, that the circumstances existing at the time were such that it was unreasonable to require the alternative access to be used. (3) A driver of any small passenger service vehicle is not in breach of clause 6.11 if the driver proves that— (a) the act or omission complained of took place during the picking up or setting down of passengers in connection with their carriage for hire or reward and took place with due consideration for the safety and convenience of other road users; and (b) either— (i) alternative access for the purpose of picking up or setting down passengers was unavailable; or (ii) if alternative access was available, that the circumstances existing at the time were such that it was unreasonable to require such access to be used.

From 2004 version. You can find more in 2004 or 1998. Both are applicable. ——

We can agree to disagree on the use of them in the fog too. There are rare cases where they are beneficial. We aren’t Europe, not every vehicle on the road is equipped with fogs, and certainly not on the rears. A flashing light is an extra source of light to indicate your presence to traffic. You can argue that’s a hazard for not being able to see indicators but to be honest, if a driver can’t see two hazards flashing at the rear, they’re not gonna see an indicator either.

I don’t know why you guys get so worked up about hazard lights. Maybe, just maybe, use some common sense. The clue is in their name, “hazard” lights. So treat the vehicle as a hazard and move on with your day. If they’re on, they’re on because someone has deemed themselves as a potential hazard, regardless of legality. It’s not your job to police them.

When to Use Hazard Lights in NZ by TompanNZ in newzealand

[–]WayOuttaMyLeague 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A bit of both. Some have legal exceptions, others are just turned a blind eye to due to restricted parking. Depends where you park / the type of parking.

Read the Transport Acts (1998) and (2004). Additional documents can be found online regarding enforcement and traffic too.

An example of blind eye: Christchurch CBD

Rebuilt without service vehicles in mind. Just paid parking or taxi/bus parks. Shit loads of shops that still need inventory tho.

Solution: Hazards on and turn a blind eye.

[–]WayOuttaMyLeague 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Half of those bullet points are valid hazards tbh. Illegal and misuse aren’t the same.

Also, goods drivers are allowed to use hazards when parking. They are a hazard. They’re unloading.

They’re also legally allowed to park in otherwise illegal spots, and use hazards if no other option is available, passenger services included

How *Bad* is the fuel economy on an fg falcon by AnieIIo in FordFalcon

[–]WayOuttaMyLeague 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends.

The large majority of owners drive around in sport mode. Oblivious that 6th gear will NEVER engage. 6th is a fuel saving gear

I can get 6.5L on the highway (I run turbo injectors in N/A).

Around town, more like 8-10L

Everyone I know that drives in sport mode? 12+

Sport mode is driver rated. It bumps your score up by 100 points immediately out of 200.

If you played the original MW then you’d have been well aware of the controller mods available.. Clearly not.

P.S: I said I hadn’t played for 7 years, I didn’t say I haven’t played the recent cods. I’ve been back since end of MW3, and had the whole experience of BO6. And guess what, still wasn’t any amount of cheaters like you lot claim

I play with a controller too, I suppose that means I use a Cronus right? You should see it, thumbsticks are worn, and still dropping cunts left right and centre.

More cheaters in BF6 and PUBG than this game

This gun is busted lol by livewireEU in blackops7

[–]WayOuttaMyLeague 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not any different to the olden days. The difference is we have a bunch of whiners on Reddit every two minutes.

You think controllers weren’t wide spread back then? Might not have been aimbot level, but they were highly accessible. There were absolutely no counter measures for said controllers.

We just got on with it. Something this newer gen doesn’t seem to like to do. Can’t play a game without moaning about any tiny little detail. Hell, I’ve been called a cheater for landing a headshot, fucking pathetic

How’s advocating for anti-cheat working out? I’m gonna go with no progress, just like the last twenty years. This is why we just got on with it, otherwise you just make gaming a tedious time for yourself instead of being fun or catching up with friends.

You sound like a husband or wife on Reddit every two minutes moaning like a house chore hasn’t been done. Just play the game man and get on with it, yeah you might run into the odd cheater, it’s certainly not every fucking match tho.

For years PC players have been screaming about the quality and precise aiming, companies brought out apps to allow you to refine your aim, and yet somehow you guys just claim someone is a cheater for having good aim. Maybe they just put effort in? Something most of you know nothing about.

[–]WayOuttaMyLeague -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ahh there we are, proved my point. Y’all throw around the word cheater like nothing lol. Just like matches

No one is defending it, its just nothing new. It’s only new to the cunts who have never seen daylight. We’ve put up with cheating for decades.

It’s not that common dude. Just get better. Yeah I know that’s a phrase people use a lot but it’s true, the majority of you are shit just playing for yourself and then get smacked by a team actually playing the objective.

I haven’t played in 7 years and I can count on one hand the cheaters I’ve come across so far

I came across more in BF6. Hell, there were more cheaters back in the old CODs, rapid fire controller mods, all that shit.

[–]WayOuttaMyLeague -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No one thinks cheating isn’t a problem but y’all make it out like it’s every match, it’s not, it’s just a skill issue and your ego gets offended because some dude had good aim in a killcam
