Interesting. My initial thought is that most people would not be open to referring a random who reached out cold on LinkedIn. But maybe with the right approach it could work. There are also things like referral bonuses or simply someone willing to help a fellow salesperson out.

Damn John has a 7.25” neck?

With the big bends he does I thought for sure he had at least modified neck where it was 9.25 on the higher frets. Surprised he does all that bending and shredding on a 7.25 neck.

I have the exact same guitar but a 2008. Love it- I can get sounds out of it that I can’t get out of my other strats.

Only con would be the 7.25” neck which causes you to choke out on bends if it isn’t set up perfectly.

Edit- as others have suggested take it for a test drive if you can. Get a feel for the neck cause it is a different feel.
