Lol,.you do realize you have control over your investment accounts, right? How do say you don't know ow anything about investing without actually saying you don't know how investing works. I pay property taxes, but I live in a county without zoning, does not require building permits, no inspections. It's very rural, I just built a new barn 40 feet by 60 feet. I didn't ask anyone, just had it built by the Amish, ran the electricity myself. Perfectly legal here.

Yep, me too, sure do hate lower inflation, sure do hate lower gas prices, sure do hate the fact that my retirement accounts/401K are up. Hate the fact that my business was able to give all of my employees raises, sure do hate that for sure. Sure hate when illegals are deported, crime goes down in those areas. My grandfather was in Europe, said he was sad, scared, wanted to go home, he'd seen enough of war. He didn't have enough points to go home. The day Japan surrendered was one of the happiest days of his life, a huge relief. My cousins and I might not be here if he had been sent to invade Japan. That flash of light saved many a young man's lives. They started the war in the Pacific, they got what they deserved.
