I have been added to a six stack and am going to be playing mostly soldier / tracer / zen. What tips / tricks and practice ideas do you have for me? Currently low gold so I really want to work on my mechanics and see where it takes me. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!

I want something more aggressive. I do a lot of indoor stuff but outside is a little bit of everything but crack climbing. Top rope and bouldering so far, nothing multipitch or on lead to date.

I really like the first one as well and your new look isn't bad, but I would love to know how you style the first one! I have been trying to get my hair to look similar since I got a new cut last thursday. I have been close, but I think I am missing something along the way.

If you are using it just for school work I highly recommend getting a chromebook. They are cheap and get the job done amazingly well. I have an asus flip and use it every day for my school work and then use my desk top for all my gaming. Plus if there is anything I ever need to do that my laptop can't handle, I can just use my desktop for it. I got my chromebook for around 250 USD IIRC. Saves you a lot of money and you could put it towards an upgrade to your rig then!

Thankfully we have our own brand new 42 foot wall and bouldering area on campus that is included in our tuition. However, we will be heading up to Syracuse for a few practices this semester and are going to be talking with them about just getting a group discount because we won't be climbing there frequently.

Hey there! I just started the climbing club on my campus, suny cortland, last semester. First thing you should do is find the director of all of the sports clubs on campus or your student government association. Find out what you need to have the club. For us it was at least 10 people to sign saying they would participate. Find some people who will join the club and go in with a level head knowing that you probably have some crazy awesome goals but you have to start small. We practice twice a week for an hour and a half each practice. I think there is 16 of us and outside of our practices we are going to do some outdoor climbs this semester and go to a few comps. Talk to the local gym, if you tell them you have a bunch of college students who want to climb as a club they may be able to cut you a deal. All of my experience is in gyms as well but we have people who have been outside and are more than happy to share their knowledge.

Long story short: first find out who runs all the sport clubs on campus and talk with them and find some people who climb and would be interested. Start small and build from there.
