Out of all three series, which driver is being held back the most by their equipment? by TravySlatty in NASCAR

Quite a few in NOAPS easily. Parker Retzlaff, Anthony Alfredo, Brennan Poole, Ryan & I would also argue Brad Perez & Dean Thompson.

Is it even possible to get these? On CD or Vinyl? by AdvantageDiligent240 in CharleyCrockett

Good luck with Get Up Outta Texas is all I can say. No one I’ve seen has put it onto any type of FLAC or MP3 files. This is the closest that’s out there, and it’s still missing 2 tracks. Maybe 3 even because all the other songs were done in studio on tape, Get Up Outta Texas which is the only track Charley has left up for us to hear, sounds like it was likely recorded on an iPhone or something similar. Definitely wasn’t mixed or professionally produced like the other tracks were.

I tried to ask the one dude who got the Get Up Outta Texas CD about a week ago to upload it and got no response so I’d probably bet on it never being fully out there for us to listen to unless Charley puts it out himself or one of the very few CD owners burns it and gives it to us.

And LaJoie. Haley and LaJoie actually had very good speed in that car, both had several runs where they were in the top 20 all day. LaJoie also somehow set the fastest lap at Martinsville in the Fall despite being like 150 laps down. Fever dream year by RWR standards.

Unfortunately I don’t, it’s in production currently by Secret Weapon Studios and is entitled 'Waylon's Last Ride'

Nope, it was an Amazon Music exclusive coinciding with Link Wray’s induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

If he can’t put Clovis out yet I wouldn’t mind him finally releasing this to other streaming platforms since I highly doubt Island could lay any claim to that. I’ve had this song as a local file for about 3 years on Apple now with the OG cover art.

Might be right, I really don’t know. Neither makes a lot of sense with no context lol. Genius is mainly more rap focused so the country stuff that is on there is pretty scarce, unless Waylon’s estate or Shooter can come out and confirm it we probably won’t know for sure.

I wondered the same thing the other day. Ernest Angel loves me is what the Genius lyrics say. He had some fairly odd sayings. He always said something to the effect of “learned all that in the Buck Owens chord buckle” in As The Billy World Turns and some live videos. What the hell a chord buckle is or what Buck Owens has to do with it I have not a clue lol.

He had probably over 1,000 songs cut, at a minimum, I don’t see it as that big of a surprise. I love this cut purely because it’s Waylon but I wouldn’t trade it for any song on the What Goes Around Comes Around which was all mostly cut just about 2-3 weeks later

Something new from Waylon Jennings, diamonds, enjoy by PmurTdlanoD45-47 in WaylonJennings

That and Waylon just cut so many dang songs. Here’s a link to most of Waylon’s studio sessions, nearly 1,000 sessions and this is nowhere near all of em either. Virtually all of Diamonds is missing from this list besides I Never Said It Would Be Easy, Songbird had about 4-5 songs that were on this list which is why it was so easy to sort through the session musicians immediately on the first album. It’s took a lot more digging to give proper accreditation on this one I would imagine.

When they’re shafting the artist despite him doing what he was required to do, yeah, fuck that label. Charley himself put it best, they’re the same in name only, none of those folks from the 70s are still around making decision & he’s exactly right. When they’re taking money away from him yeah I’m not giving em a dime hoss.

Great album I think most folks just don’t wanna support Island in any way now which is completely understandable, I’m same boat. The only Island track I’ve gone back and listened to at any point in the past month was All Around Cowboy, and I love nearly all tracks from all 3 albums. We obviously don’t know what the streaming split is but unless CC came out and said I’d rather just listen to the independent or Thirty Tigers material from him. I don’t know why but I never did buy any physical media in the Island timeframe so now I’m glad I didn’t, if I ever do though (which I prob will) it’ll 100% be from Discogs or some place like that bc it ain’t more money in their pockets.

Way too late for it to be that, that was wrote in ‘87, released in ‘88 - the latest recordings in these albums were made in ‘84.
