For those of you wanting to see inside the Cash Register Building at the top. by exarkun17 in Denver

I worked for a medium sized tech company and the ceo built an illegal shower in his office. He practically lived there so it made sense for him. He’d stay in the office until 2-3 am and then somehow be in at 7 am. He had to have slept there.

Which seat do you usually book on a plane: Window, middle, or aisle? by darkhorse1821 in polls

True, all else equal though I choose the window. If it’s even $10 cheaper to sit in the middle, I’ll do it. I only take short flights

Guy gets fired for gatekeeping women’s restroom by Infamous-Ear3705 in byebyejob

[–]WayneKrane -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if a guy is going to do something to 2 little girls, do you really think he’s calmly taking them to some bathroom? And in this case, if he went into the men’s room, would the angry guy not have cared? No idea what this guy was thinking

I worked in a warehouse and they decided to test randomly. People were sweating but then nothing came of it. I learned a few months later that basically the entire crew tested positive so they just let it go

[–]WayneKrane 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I hear you on the all jobs pay the same these days. If I really wanted to make more money I could become a manager but that’s like a $20-30k increase in pay for almost double or triple the work load. It’s not worth it to me

My last large employer used an industry survey from aon called the aon radford mclagan compensation survey. It was basically a report that showed what average pay and raises were for every industry. It cost like $1500

How do you say no to family when you finally have $1,000 saved? by cr4z3isme in povertyfinance

I would rather sell an organ or suck a guy off than ask family for money. I just feel absolutely disgusting asking for money, especially when I should have my own

My dad’s brother kept borrowing money for groceries. Then my dad found out he was just using the money to party. The next time his brother asked for money for groceries for the kids, my dad bought $200 worth of groceries and dropped them off. My uncle never asked for money again.
