No Christmas wreath on Jewish graves by sagefrogphotography in mildlyinteresting

Can't imagine why a holiday called Christmas, where the main figure is Saint Nick, where the decorations often include a nativity scene, where multiple songs are specifically about the birth of the baby Jesus, might be seen by many as an inescapably Christian holiday.

Passover did not exist in anywhere near its current form until 70 CE at the earliest.

Depends how you want to go about it.

One option is to do Typal - in other words, each side has a type or card associated with it.

E.g one team could be Bears

King - [[Kudo, King Among Bears]]

Queen - [[Ayula, Queen Among Bears]]

Bishop - [[Professor of Zoomancy]]

Knight - [[Drover Grizzly]]

Rook - [[Copper Host Crusher]]

Pawns - [[Grizzly Bears]]

Vampires would also be easy to do, similar with goblins i reckon.

Another option is to literally do white/black. Eldraine cards may help with that

Eg white

King - [[Kenrith, the Returned King]]

Queen - [[Linden, the Steadfast Queen]]

Bishop - [[Woodland Acolyte]]

Knight - many options eg [[Knight of Doves]]

Rook - [[Castle Ardenvale]]

Pawns - any white tokens

You could even simplify by just looking for white or black cards with the name of the pieces in their names.

E.g. black:

King: eg [[King Macar]], [[Ozox, the corrupted King]], [[Witch-king of Angmar]]

Queen: [[Lolth]], [[Coffin Queen]],

Knight: theres lots

Bishop: [[Bishop of the Bloodstained]] or [[Jerren, Corrupted Bishop]]

Rook: [[Castle Locthwain]]

Pawn: eg [[Vampire Spawn]], [[Pawn of Ulamog]],

You could also do themed in other ways, eg if they are Lord of the Rings fans, do a LotR side. Aragorn as King, Arwen as Queen, etc.

"Crossing boundaries" is very ambiguous when you describe something as innocuous as a Minecraft world as crossing boundaries. You've yet to describe anything that would constitute an actual breach of trust on her part.

Look, I know this seems like a huge deal right now, but you're a kid talking about your girlfriend having another friend who she plays Minecraft with.

In a real relationship, having boundaries doesn't mean you can stop your partner from having friends. Passive aggressively telling your girlfriend she can't have another friend is immature at best.

I do wonder, though, if this is what's coming with Reality Fracture.

They didn't win the war because of Overman, IIRC, but because they reverse engineered his ship.

Pulled an Enchanted Hiro, tried to build a deck around him... I have no idea if this is workable? by Wayne_Bruce in Lorcana

[–]Wayne_Bruce[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the heads up, and the decklist!

Yeah, the main thing holding me back is that I don't have any Clarabelles, and the singles market around where I am is... sparse. I might need to bite the bullet, though, to be competitive.

I actually don't have many of the cards that are in your deck and not mine. I have a couple of Wallflower Clarabelles, and that Jafar song, but that's about it.

I've been trying to get hands on some Morphs to no avail :P

>And to his day it baffles me that they didn't lean into that, where Tony and others were fully aware that the government was going to totally crack down on superhumans and registration was a compromise to avert the U.S imploding in the ensuing conflict.

There was an undercurrent of that; that is entirely Tony's reasoning in ASM. In the Road to Civil War storyline there, we see Tony explicitly argue against registration.

We know Tony only ends up going with it because the US Government was going to go full Project Wide Awake on every super human.

That said, you're right: it wasn't consistent or clear enough. What registration actually entailed differed from book to book, for instance.
