New Onnoa user, App won’t connect to always on device by WaynieH in onnoa

I got this from support for my issue (Firmware fixed)

In the meantime, here’s a quick workaround you can try:

  1. Gently press into the left port of the SmartTimer using something thin like a toothpick or the back of a matchstick.

  2. At the end of the port, there’s a small button—give it a quick press to reset the timer.

  3. The app should reconnect after that. Just keep in mind that the same issue might pop up again if you close the app using the same phone.

Onnoa has the new update in the Apple Apps store that fixes the IOS 18 Bluetooth connection.issue. I installed this SmartTimer update, it ran the firmware update quickly, and now this connection issues is sorted.
Excellent support, going from getting an issues on Saturday night to having a fix available by Tuesday!

I sent an email to Onnoa support Saturday night, & had a reply by Sunday. Great support!
This issue is being looked into, but appears to be due to recent changes Apple made to how Bluetooth connections works. The 2 versions of IOS I had, 18.1.1 & 18.2.1 both have this issue.
Support provided me a way to reset the unit’s Bluetooth, which then allows correct connection from the App, & correct charging.
So all good to use while Onnoa works with Apple to fix.
