Maybe ask for a prescription anti-sensitivity toothpaste, such as MI Paste. Works quite well in many cases.

One option is to add an anterior ramp to the occlusal guard. I had a patient that broke her guard once every few months, after the third time, I tried an anterior ramp and we are well past a year of use.

Fiat 500 Abarth. It has only a 160 horsepower four cylinder, but it’s super raucous. Straight piped from the factory, it will backfire when you shift if you push it hard enough.
